4. BIRTHDAY

CHAPTER FOUR: BIRTHDAY

Today was Saturday and it was the twins' birthday, since Reginald was very strike with not inviting people over. The twins just held their six-year-old birthday with their mom and grandparents.

The door bell rang "I will get it" you got up before walking over to the door and opened it.

"Hey Nico" you smiled as you looked at the young guy with cap on. He had short brown hair and brown eyes.   

"Sorry I'm late" he said "It's okay, come in" you step aside and Nico enter the mansion.

"Hey baby" he looked at you "Hey honey" you both smiled before sharing a kiss.

You and Nico have being dating for six months and he was a great guy, he was so sweet and caring, also to Jamie and Elliott. And he actually made you think that me might be the right dad for your kids. 

"NICO!" you and Nico pulled away to see Jamie and Elliott rushing over to you both.

"Hey kids, happy birthday" he said "Thank you" Jamie and Elliott said "Here" Nico gave them a small present each "Thank you Nico" they grab the present before rushing into the living room.

"I'm sorry that they--" "Don't be" you looked at him "We have only dated for six months. I lost my mom when I was four and my dad remarried a year later. It took me a long time to get use to another woman filling out my mom's spot. And it took me even longer to call her mom. So give them time, they are still so young" he smiled and you smiled too.

"Come" you grab Nico's hand and the two of you walked into the living room as the twins was sitting on the floor, opening the presents.

Flashback start....

Two years ago.

You had just finished another concert and you walked down from the stage.

Then suddenly a gate open on the other side and a bunch of fan entered.

"We need backup" a bodyguard said as him and the rest rushed over to hold the fan back "Nico get her out of here" a bodyguard said to a young bodyguard that had brown eyes and brown here.

Nico nodded before he grab your arm and the two of you rushed towards the car that was farther down.

But as you walked down a guy who was standing behind a counter and was holding a knife suddenly jump forward to attack you.

You let out a scream as the knife swung his knife at you, but then Nico block the guy's arm with his hand before he grab it, disarmed him and swung him down on the floor, holding him in a perfect lock position.

Two other bodyguards rushed over "We got him" they said and Nico got up before he lead you into your ride and it drove away.

Tears was running down your eyes as your whole body was shaking, still in shock for what just happen.

Nico grab a bottle of water "Here" he stretched the bottle of water towards you "It will help with the nerves" he said and you grab it before taken a huge sip.

Then you started crying and fear and in shock. While crying you rested your head on Nico's shoulder and he comfort you.

Nico was standing right outside a room when the door opened and Reginald and Abigail walk out "She want to talk to you" Abigail said and Nico nodded "Thank you for saving our daughter" she said "No mention it" he said before he walked into the room where you were.
