We reached the wishing stone with no trouble, and each of us wished to see each other's past. All three of us got separated in the flashbacks, because the time traveling had to be individual. Blake would see my past, and Sabri's past, Sabri would see my past and Blake's past, and I would see Blake's past and Sabri's past. Even though me and my sister live together, I have a sneaking suspicion that she's been hiding quite a lot from me.
I've always had that feeling. Even though she's been nothing but the perfect sister, always always I feel she has been hiding something from me all these years.
Blake's POV
I got blasted into the past of Soola, and witnessed how much of a horrid person she used to be before she met me and became all soft. I liked her much better before, but of course I couldn't say that out loud.
I would have to pretend like this was the reason I am breaking up with her, and it looks like she did all the work for me, because this is the perfect excuse. No other reason would beat what kind of flashback I'm about to share with you. It's so vile and disgusting and so much better than she is now.
"Soola, I'm begging you, just please leave us alone. I'll do what you want, okay?
"Just don't bring my parents into this. It was an accident, and I'll do anything. Just please don't share it- keep this between us, alright?"
She started laughing maniacally like some kind of psycho. Instead of having compassion on this poor girl, she found it amusing and used her mistakes for blackmail. This hoe shouldn't have been so desperate, but rather, should have owned up to her mistakes.
None of this would have happened if she took accountability for her actions, but this unfair world would have rather blamed Soola because it was easier to do, especially given her past reputation as a bully.
"Oh my gosh, Skye, you're so desperate. Do you think you're worth it? Like, if I really cared I would have leaked this information already.
"You're not worth the gossip and nothing about you is interesting. Even if I did care, people would forget about it in less than two weeks, literally. You're so unimportant to be the center of gossip. Ruin your reputation? You don't even have a reputation to ruin."
Tears welled up in her eyes, and if Asther and Lolivia hadn't butted in, I'm sure that Soola would have kept going.
"Fuck off, Soola! If you weren't on birth control, you would have gotten pregnant at least fifty times!" she fumed viciously at her. Asther seemed to be a fiery one, but there was no way to tell for sure if she was just fiery in comparison to us passive people and was actually the logical one among her friend group, or if she was just all around temperamental and bold.
"At least I can get boyfriends, you ugly sea hag. You don't know what kind of lifestyle I live so don't speak on it unless you're qualified, okay?"
Asther got right up in her face and looked like she was about to fight Soola, she swung a hard punch but missed, because Lolivia tried to restrain her.
"I know she's a pain, but you don't want to get yourself suspended. The idea is to help Skye, not to make the situation worse. You can insult her all you want though— I'm here for it."
"You brats," she sneered as she started cackling psychotically. If I didn't know better, I would think that she belonged to an insane asylum, because of how crazy she used to act. What on earth could have fostered her change is still a mystery to me, but I suppose I would find out soon enough.
The flashback fast forwarded to when Skye's family found out about her relationship with a guy that her parents already hated and warned her against dating.
Of course, she was too stubborn to listen, and it costed her dignity. Her parents were still understanding, but because Skye was so afraid of getting disowned, she was rumored to commit suicide, although some people are now speculating that she went dimension traveling instead and became trapped in the Seventh Dimension. During the time traveling, it never actually showed whether or not she really committed suicide, so whatever really happened to her is anybody's guess.
After that, it flash forwarded to another bullying incident where Pneudonna, Charlotte, and Soola all ganged up on Lolivia at once.
"Where are your minions?"
Usually Soola was the one who instigated, but Pneudonna decided to take the lead this time in being one of the most obnoxious human beings to ever exist on this planet. She was almost as bad as Soola and her godforsaken sister, but she was slightly less obnoxious, so I tolerated her.
"Get bent," she said irritably as she flipped them off. "I am perfectly capable of defending myself, honey. I'm grateful that my friends help me, but I can easily tell of the clown parade solo."
"Oooh look she's being spicy," Charlotte sneered. It was meant to be a subtle dig, but it totally flopped.
Out of these three bullies, she was known to be the most air-headed. Soola had bullied many times, but today she was particularly quiet. She was still enabling Charlotte and Pneudonna, but something in her seemed to soften up, and she wasn't using the same brute force like she did before. Her friends caught on, and they probably would have eaten her alive the moment they sensed this weakness, if they weren't so busy picking on Lolivia first.
Liv turned around to walk away, but girls continued to follow her and harass her and at that point, she completely lost her temper on these girls, which left them kind of stunned but mostly amused. Because they would not respect her in any way or lay off, she got the security guards involved so that the girls were not allowed to go near her anymore. Honestly, she should have done that from the very beginning. I thought it was funny at first, but at this point it was just getting ridiculous. Even I was not so relentless, and that is a low bar for comparison.
The girls got pissed, and it was quite satisfying to see them put in their place. Mrs. Sobre was speaking with some other teachers, speculating what on earth happened to her daughter, Skye. Everybody was saying and spreading rumors that she took her own life, since she could not handle this level of bullying, but the three girls came up with different theories, which actually had to do with all the dimensions. The video game is called Blood Moon Eclipse, and it is one of a couple portals to dimension-hop. Back then, it had so much less issues, because the new game developer wasn't messing it up at the time.
"That new game developer is trouble," I heard one of them whisper. "We weren't able to find out who it is yet, but we know that this person is trouble."
"Can we get more information? If she's really in the First Dimension, I would like to find my daughter."
"Ma'am, I'm really sorry- we're doing the best we can.
"Whoever this person is, they're good at hiding it. We've narrowed it down to location; someone in this school has been messing with the dimensions and we believe that's the new developer."
"I don't care how long this takes. Just find my daughter."
