"Dennis!! Stop cheating!!" I shout trying to kick the remote out of his hands, obviously failing since he's still in the lead.

Right now, me and Alec are playing Mario cart. He is such a cheater and honestly it's driving me crazy.

"Give it up Lyrical!" He laughs. "You're never going to beat me!" He yells, poking his tongue out at me.

"Is that right?" I smirk, turning his head towards the TV.

On the top screen, a word comes in to place.

LOSER!

Then on the bottom screen a word pops into place with confetti.

WINNER!

"Wait, how?!" Alec yells pointing to the top half of the screen. His half.

I don't reply, I just make a gun with my hand and make a pop sound like I just shot him, while I bend my thumb like it's the trigger on a gun.

"Lyrical Jones you cheater!" Alec screams, coming close up to my face, inches away.

I stare into his tree green eyes as my mind starts to swirl around crazily. My stomach feels like it has a million butterflies, fluttering around like drunk people high on heroin at a party, face planting into walls and floors. His breathe mingles with mine as I notice the tiny hiding freckles on his face. His messy brown, curly hair, bouncing on his head and spiralling down his forehead, hovering just above his eyes. His cologne springing off of him and tumbling into me like a thousand tiny droplets of water zooming down a waterslide.

I've never felt this way.

I think I like Alec Dennis.

"Lyrical Jones you cheater!" I shout, rage and jealousy bubbling up inside me like a pot with lava boiling water in it.

Some how I managed to come face to face with Lyrical, inches between our lips.

Make the move Alec. Kiss her.

No.

Yes.

No.

Shut up!

The battle between my mind and me goes on forever.

I finally decide to just ignore the voice in my head and stare at Lyrical.

Her baby blue eyes, staring straight back at me, excitement dancing around in her eyes. Her light brown freckles scattering her cheeks are cute. Her nose is perfectly in place, making her eyes stand out.

My stomach is turning and swirling around in me at the thought of being this close to her. Her minty breath mingles with mine, along with the strawberry scent of her perfume. Her fringe swaying down her forehead almost covering her right eye.

I've never noticed how beautiful Lyrical actually is and I think... I think...

I like Lyrical Jones.

As I zone back into the inner battle between my mind and me, I decide to give in and kiss her.

I'm going to kiss Lyrical, Lyrical Jones.

I zone back out and stare into Lyrical's eyes. Capturing ever detail before letting my eyes glance down at her lips. And that's when I take the chance.

I close my eyes, taking a deep breathe through my nose then lean forward..

Our lips almost together..
