"Mine," Lucy said protectively, her hands over the last candy cane.

"Ugh, I was the one who went all the way to Walmart for this!" George complained. "I went through that amount of snow for these,"

"Who told you to buy exactly 4 pieces of bloody good candy canes?" Lucy said. "This is my home, it entered my territory, so it's mine."

"While you're fighting, I'll be the one to eat it-" Lockwood said casually as he reached for the candy cane. Lucy smacked his arm.

"No," Lucy said in a very dark voice. "Don't you even dare,"

They were fighting over the one last candy cane hanging on the tree, now lying on the floor.

"I swear, Lockwood, if you even try thinking of getting that, I.. I'll stop loving you." Lucy spluttered.

Lockwood laughed, grabbing Lucy's waist and putting her in his lap.

"Ew. Ew. Ew." George coughed, covering his eyes mockingly.

"No one told you to look." Lucy smirked. George removed his hands from his eyes and then averted his eyes to the candy cane.

All three of them were glancing at the candy.

"How about we divide it equally-" Lockwood started.

"No," George and Lucy said at the same time, turning Lockwood down immediately.

"I don't share my property," Lucy said.

"Not yours. Mine. I bought it, I walked through that stupid snowstorm and it belongs to me." George said.

"Again, why the hell did you only buy four? Why not six? Why not the whole pack?" Lucy asked, exasperated.

"Because I'm not rich, genius," George rolled his eyes. "I didn't have enough money. Period."

"Are you hungry?" Lucy asked to the both of them.

"Yes," they said.

She groaned.

"Why can't you guys just give it to me? Ladies first?"

"Since when were you a lady?" George snorted.

Lucy shot him a death glare.

"Lucy, love, I'll just buy you a pack next time," Lockwood tried to console his wife.

She pouted at him. Lockwood cooed while George made a retching sound, but he secretly shipped it.

"But I want it now," she muttered.

"Let's just give it to George," he coaxed. "I'll get you a whole pack,"

"24 pieces?" Lucy asked.

"24 pieces," he assured her.

"Fine then." Lucy said and George grabbed the candy cane.

She turned her attention to Lockwood.

Lockwood stared into her brown eyes specked with some hazel and green.

"You're beautiful," he said and then he kissed her.

He could swear that her cheeks were coated pink.

And George was recording everything while munching on the candy cane.

"Moments," he muttered. "Christmas Locklyle moments,"
