Y/N was walking toward her office, barely able to keep her eyes open.
Last night, she had stayed up late again, not because of work or some party, but because of him-Jeon Jungkook. That damned stalker wouldn't leave her alone. Since that night, he had constantly been watching and following her.
Last night, she looked out the window again, convinced she saw his shadow under the streetlamp in front of her building. The very thought of it sent chills down her spine.
Y/N decided that she didn't want to put Amy in greater danger, so she returned to her apartment. At first, Amy didn't approve, but then Y/N found an excuse, claiming that she needed personal space and quiet. Amy looked at her suspiciously, but she relented, knowing there was no way the two of them could be together 24/7. However, Amy warned her that if anything happened, she should call her immediately so that Amy could contact the police.
Tired and irritable, Y/N barely dragged herself to her office. She gripped her coffee cup tightly, hoping the caffeine would help her get through the day. As soon as she sat down at her desk, Amy appeared at the door. Amy looked excited but also a bit worried.
"Amy, what is it now?" Y/N asked, trying to sound interested despite her exhaustion. She watched her cautiously.
"Y/N, my ex... Liam, reached out to me," Amy began, looking a bit unsure. "You know, the one I was with two years ago. He said he wants to reconnect, that he's sorry for everything, and that he'd like to give it another try."
Y/N sighed deeply and took a sip of her coffee before speaking. "Amy, do you know what you want? How do you feel about that?" Y/N tried her best to focus on Amy and her life. She owed her attention since Amy had been there for Y/N as well.
Amy sat down in the chair opposite Y/N. She looked stylish and casual. She was wearing skinny jeans that highlighted her slim figure, paired with a simple yet striking black t-shirt. The shirt had a classic cut, with short sleeves, providing a perfect contrast to Y/N's more formal attire. Y/N was wearing a beautiful dress that accentuated her figure perfectly. The dress gracefully flowed down to her ankles, gently swaying with each step. It was made of soft, lightweight material that followed the lines of her body, and the upper part of the dress was designed to leave her shoulders bare, revealing an elegant neckline. The color of the dress was subtle, a pastel shade that perfectly complemented her complexion, giving her an ethereal, almost fairy-like appearance.
"I'm not sure... Liam was a good guy, but our breakup wasn't easy. There was a lot left unsaid." Amy looked away, and Y/N could see that she was uncomfortable recalling what had happened in the past.
Y/N put her coffee cup down on the desk and managed to catch Amy's gaze. "If you want to meet with him, you have to be sure you're ready for it. If you think you have unanswered questions or unresolved feelings, then maybe it's worth meeting him. But only if it will be good for you."
Amy thought for a few moments, then nodded. "You might be right... I think I'll meet with him. At least to see where we stand now."
"That's reasonable," Y/N smiled at her, feeling that she had helped her friend, even just a little. She almost forgot about her exhaustion, but as Amy stood up and reached the door, Y/N's eyes were already half-closed from fatigue. Amy opened the door wide and looked at Y/N. "Thank you, Y/N."
"You're welcome," Y/N replied, trying to hide the tiredness that still weighed down her eyelids. As Amy left the office, Y/N remained seated at her desk, trying to focus on her work.
...
Y/N was angry and frustrated, spending the entire time in her office, her fingers flying over the keyboard. If she wanted to sleep, she'd have to tire herself out completely.
...
The late afternoon sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the bustling streets of the city. Y/N is still at her desk, her fingers moving methodically over her keyboard as she tried to finish up the last of her work. The silence was comforting, allowing her to focus without distraction. At least, that's what she thought.
But there was a sensation-a prickle at the back of her neck-that she couldn't shake. The feeling that she was being watched, scrutinized, had settled in like a dark cloud. She tried to ignore it, blaming the long hours and stress for her paranoia. However, the urge to look out the window became overwhelming.
Y/N hesitated before finally giving in, glancing up from her screen toward the large glass windows that lined the side of the building. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw him.
Bunny.
He was there, standing across the street, half-hidden in the shadows of a tall building. Even from a distance, she could see his damned, ugly rabbit mask.
Y/N felt a chill run down her spine. She'd noticed him before-too many times to count. In the grocery store, at the café she frequented, even in the park when she went for her morning runs. Always at a distance, never too close, but always there. Watching. Since that night, he hadn't approached her in person, but now she was getting a different impression.
Oh God!
Her pulse quickened as fear gripped her. The air in the office suddenly felt thick, stifling. She couldn't stay here. Not with him standing there, staring at her like she was some kind of prey.
