the engine's dying groan echoing through the silent forest. The towering trees loomed ominously overhead, their branches like skeletal fingers reaching toward the black sky. Cold, damp air clung to the earth, carrying the scent of wet moss and decay. The hooded man wasted no time, dragging Y/N's unconscious body out of the vehicle, her limbs limp and lifeless against the forest floor.

Without hesitation, he slung her over his shoulder, moving swiftly through the dense trees, the crunch of dried leaves underfoot the only sound breaking the stillness of the night.

They passed through the thick undergrowth until they reached a small, secluded clearing. Moonlight filtered through the branches, casting eerie shadows that seemed to dance and twist, adding to the suffocating tension. As Y/N stirred, her mind was foggy, and a dull ache throbbed in her skull. Disoriented, she blinked slowly, her vision blurred as the world came into focus.

The man, still hooded, stood tall and motionless in front of her, his face concealed beneath a sinister mask. His gaze was unwavering, cold and calculating, as he watched the other figure lower Y/N to the ground and bind her wrists with rough rope.

The knot bit into her skin, sending a sharp jolt of pain through her body. Her breath quickened, a shiver running down her spine as the freezing night air clung to her sweat-soaked skin.

"Welcome back, Y/N," the masked man spoke, his voice unnervingly calm, almost soothing in its coldness. He slowly peeled back the mask, revealing a face she knew all too well.

Her heart slammed into her ribs as recognition washed over her in a violent wave. "Marcus?" The name slipped from her lips in a shaky whisper, disbelief and dread intertwining as memories of him-Amy's ex-boyfriend-flooded her mind. His intense eyes, once filled with desire, now brimmed with something far darker, more dangerous.

The forest around them seemed to close in, the shadows deeper, the night colder. Y/N's skin prickled with fear, the heavy silence between them pressing down on her like a weight. "What are you doing?" she asked, her voice trembling as her gaze darted frantically around, searching for an escape. But there was none. The trees stood like prison bars, trapping her in this nightmare. The realization hit her hard-she'd been taken, kidnapped. There was no mistaking it.

Marcus's smile was a cruel twist of his lips, devoid of warmth, filled only with madness. "I want Amy back, Y/N. She left me because of you." His voice was venomous, each word laced with resentment as he began circling her, a predator toying with its prey. "You were always there, whispering in her ear, poisoning her mind against me. But that ends tonight. Once you're gone, she'll come back to me."

Y/N's pulse quickened, her stomach churning with fear. Her heart raced, every instinct screaming at her to run, to fight, but her body remained frozen, paralyzed by the sheer terror of the moment. "Marcus, please... this won't bring her back," she whispered, her voice breaking, pleading with whatever shred of humanity he might still possess.

But his eyes, dark and unrelenting, were far beyond reason. "She'll come back once you're out of the picture," he said, his voice low, dangerous, as he stepped closer, his presence overwhelming. "She'll have no one left but me."

Y/N's body trembled, her breath coming in shallow, ragged gasps. "This is insane," she choked out, taking a step back as he advanced, her legs weak beneath her. The fear was all-consuming now, her heart pounding like a drum against her chest, her vision narrowing to the madman in front of her.

Marcus's laugh echoed through the clearing, distorted and chilling, like the laugh of a man who had long since lost his mind. He crouched down before her, his eyes gleaming with sick pleasure, and grabbed a fistful of her hair, yanking her head back with a sharp, painful tug. A cry of pain escaped her lips, hot tears stinging her eyes. "Y/N-" he began, but was cut off by a sudden, sharp whistle that sliced through the air.

Before she could even register the sound, Marcus let out a guttural gasp. Her head snapped up just in time to see an axe buried deep in the side of his skull, blood pouring from the grotesque wound. His body wavered for a second, then crumpled to the ground, lifeless.

Y/N's breath came in short, panicked bursts, her eyes wide with shock as they darted to the figure standing in the moonlight.

The figure was tall, imposing, and wore a large, terrifying bunny mask that seemed almost absurd in the dark reality of the situation

The figure was tall, imposing, and wore a large, terrifying bunny mask that seemed almost absurd in the dark reality of the situation. But despite its bizarre appearance, a strange sense of relief washed over her-a lifeline in this nightmare.

Yet, that relief was fleeting. Marcus's accomplice, a man hidden beneath a hood, snarled in fury as he witnessed his friend's death.

His face contorted with rage, and he drew a long, menacing knife from his belt. With wild eyes, he lunged towards Y/N, grabbing her roughly and pressing the cold blade against her throat. "Stay back!" he barked into the night, his voice trembling with panic. "I'll kill her! I swear I will!"

Y/N's heart raced, her pulse hammering in her ears. The blade bit into her skin just enough to send a sharp sting through her body, and she could feel the warm trickle of blood where the knife nicked her throat. Tears filled her eyes as terror gripped her completely.

But then, from the darkness, masked figure stepped forward-Jungkook.

His expression was calm, unnervingly so, as if the chaos unfolding before him didn't faze him in the slightest. His gaze, however, was locked on Y/N, his dark eyes filled with a quiet intensity that made her heart stutter.

"Stay back!" the man yelled again, his voice cracking under the weight of his fear. "I'll slit her throat!"

Jungkook's steps didn't falter. He walked towards them with the measured, unhurried pace of a predator, his eyes softening when they met Y/N's. "I'm sorry I'm late, princess," he murmured, his voice low, smooth, as if they weren't surrounded by danger.
