I'm on a camp with my explorers troupe, but we were allowed to go home for the night and return in the morning.
As I walk towards the hut, I realise I am the last person to arrive. My friends are all sat on a wooden picnic bench outside the hut. "Where have you been?" everyone asks me, but they are happy to see me. I told them that I overslept.
Carrying my stuff, I walk past them, down the hill towards the tent that I'm going to share with two of my best friends- Eliza and Harriet.
But on the way, I accidentally take the wrong path, and end up at the bottom of a steep hill, next to the sea. Waves lap at my feet as I look up the path.
Eliza, Harriet and our friend Juliette are coming down the grassy hill towards me. "You took the wrong path, silly!" Eliza calls, "our tent is that way!" She points to my right, and sure enough our pale green tent is flapping in the breeze a good two minutes walk away.
My friends have reached me now. "Let's go back up!"
But the ground beneath our feet is no longer grass- instead it is small, brown, loose pebbles that crunch and bounce under our feet as we move. The hill has also grown steeper. It's going to be impossible to get back up.
We begin trying to walk up, but we slide back down over and over again- our attempts are useless.
Suddenly a bleating voice rings out behind us. "Hello? Hello? Hello?"
I turn around and see a goat. It's talking to us. It's also foaming at the mouth and it's head is completely hairless- like a naked mole rat. It's eyes are wide and startlingly bright- they stare at me as it continues to speak over and over.
Me and my friends laugh, and begin to mimic it. "Hello! Hello! Hello!" we repeat to it.
We try to climb the hill again, and this time we have some luck- our boots find purchase in among the slippery rocks. As we ascend, the goat follows us, still chanting.
Will it ever leave us alone?
