"Damn, I almost lost my mind. My panties were left in the room" I flew out of the bathroom as soon as I heard the door slam.

"Yeah. I noticed. And I wasn't the only one" She answered without batting an eye.

"Fuck! Seriously? So what? What the hell were my panties doing in the rest room?! They certainly weren't drying!"

"I had to tell him that you had managed to fall head over heels in love with a gorgeous guy, and yesterday in this room, while I was sleeping, you two indulged in wild, fantastic sex" she said calmly. I looked at her dumbfounded, not believing what I heard.

"Are you crazy? Were there no other possible scenarios in your fantasy?" my voice was already screaming from excitement.

"There were. For example, to say that you were fucking his daughter! How do you like that option?" the girl asked sarcastically.

"Go to hell! I'd rather dry my panties by the fireplace!" I snorted angrily and went to look for the reason for our discord.

"Cool down. I was joking, everything is fine" she admitted to my back "the color of your panties blended very well with the color of the carpet, so they went unnoticed" the girl reassured me with a smile.

"Your jokes are stupid" I snapped offendedly, turning around.

"He invited us to have dinner together in half an hour. And it seems he wants to discuss something with you."

I looked up at the brunette, confused.

"Discuss what?" I asked myself a rather stupid question, realizing in advance that she did not know the details. To which she, as expected, only shrugged her shoulders, once again proving that she did not have more detailed information.

Half an hour later we were already sitting at a table in a restaurant, having dinner and talking with her father. He asked if we had a good rest, to which we nodded, without exaggeration, almost in sync, crossing each other's eyes, and then my eyes went to the plate, I was subconsciously afraid that he, as a high-level businessman, could see right through people. Becky was telling him about our skating, admiring the freshness of the air, the surrounding landscapes and other things.

When dinner was over, he asked me to stay, explaining the need for a personal conversation. Becky went for a ride, and we were left alone. I was worried, remembering our first conversation in the office, when I had no idea what he wanted from me, and now I felt the same, the unknown was frightening.

"Well, Freen" he began slowly "I wanted to thank you for the successful cooperation. I believe that you did everything in your power, monitoring my daughter for a month, in turn, I hope that she has become more prudent. Extending our contract further, in my opinion, is pointless, after all, we cannot monitor her like this all the time. It remains to think that you have directed her in the right direction, from which she will not decide to leave. Otherwise, I will have to act more seriously" All this time I listened, thoughtfully looking through him. At the last phrase, waking up, I looked at him point-blank, my eyes wide open in surprise.

"What do you mean, Mr. Armstrong?" I asked in a businesslike tone, trying not to show my excitement.

"There are a lot of drug treatment centers in New York, Freen." He answered too calmly, as if we were not talking about his daughter. Something painfully stabbed in my heart.

"So, the moving after all?" I asked.

"Yes, I started thinking about it more seriously, after all, she should be closer to me" He sighed "Upon arrival in Los Angeles, I will write you a check" I nodded "And one more thing. I have a good business proposal for you" He deliberately paused, giving me the opportunity to take in the information "We are opening a large representative office in Houston. I suggest you manage it" He looked at me carefully, trying to understand my reaction to his proposal "I see great potential in you, Freen. What do you say?" seeing my confusion, he tried to press.
