[ Heavenly's Castle - Discussion Room ]

The tension in the room was palpable.

The discussion had been going in circles, with everyone trying to piece together the fragmented information.

Alan sat at the table, his expression unreadable, while the others exchanged glances filled with uncertainty.

Mike: "The war has been postponed since the leader of the Crimsons is reportedly heavily injured."

Kanaeo: "I have no idea what the hell their plan is."

Mike: "Same."

Ace, leaning forward, furrowed his brow in confusion.

"Isn't Kartik the leader of the Crimsons?"

"If so, didn't you people say Alan and Kartik had a battle?"

"If Kartik is the one injured, does that mean Ala—"

Alan, interrupting with a calm yet cold tone,

"Not at all."

"I've lost to him in the battle."

Mike's eyes widened in disbelief.

"What the hell."

Kanaeo: "What's the score?"

Alan: "0-20."

Mike: "No freaking way,

"Alan!"

Kanaeo: "How did you lose to him without scoring a single point?!"

Ace: "Yeah, no"

"Something's wrong."

"Then how is Kartik the one injured?"

"Shouldn't it be you?"

Alan's voice dropped a notch, filled with an eerie calm.

"You people are so dumb."

"It’s clearly stated that Kartik was involved in an accident."

Everyone's eyes narrowed as they focused on Alan, the atmosphere in the room growing heavier.

Ace: "There’s no freaking transportation facility in Peakwest, Alan."

Alan: "I mean, why must 'accident' only mean a vehicle-related incident?"

"What if Kartik was attacked by Yuki too?"

"Maybe he’s covering it up with a lie."

"You know Yuki’s been working in the shadows, not coming out in the open."

"At least I’m glad he didn’t betray us."

"I’m proud of him,"

"and honestly,"

"I feel guilty that I attacked him."

Mike: "WHAT?!"

Alan: "Ehee…"

Mike, rubbing his temples in frustration,

"Whatever."

Manda, who had been silently observing, finally spoke up, his voice laced with skepticism.

"So, based on your conclusions,

"I don't think the war is going to happen."

Alan, with a hint of urgency in his tone,

"No, it will."

Manda fixed him with a penetrating stare.

"How are you so sure, Alan?"

Alan stuttered for a moment before replying,

"I mean,"

"they’re not the type to give up easily."

Manda: "Ok?"

Alan, more assertively,

"What do you mean, 'ok?'"

"That's my statement."

Manda leaned back, a smirk playing on his lips.

"You're suspicious,"

"Alan,"

"to be honest."

Ace, crossing his arms,

"That’s what I’ve been saying,"

"but no one listens."

Alan, growing defensive,

"Bro, what are you people trying to say?"

Manda shrugged nonchalantly.

"Nothing."

Alan, changing the subject,

"Did you complete your recruitment?"

Manda: "Nope."

"I’m on break."

Alan: "Yeah,"

"be quick."

Manda, with a dismissive wave,

"Meh."

Just then, Yuta walked in, the air in the room shifting with his arrival.

Yuta: "There’s information from the Agiadd clan."

Alan, his focus shifting immediately,

"What information?"

Yuta: "Agiadd has declared war against the Crimsons,"

"and they want us to be involved."

The room fell silent, the words hanging in the air like a heavy cloud.

Alan, Mike, and Kanaeo’s eyes widened in shock.

while Manda’s expression turned from suspicion to realization.

Manda, almost whispering,

"There you go,"

"Agiadds."

Chapter Ends.
