The next morning Delainey was in the kitchen getting a glass of water when she heard a giant splash from outside, she opened the glass screen door and saw Scott swimming in her pool.

"Scott, you good buddy?", she asked him now standing at the edge of the pool, "Y-yeah", he spoke gasping for the coolness of the water that had just woken him up, "Good morning", he told her whilst making his way over and starting to climb out.

"Morning", She laughed but really she was concerned, she had never jumped into anyone's pool whilst asleep, so she deduced that the process of turning was slightly different for bitten werewolf's.

He headed back over towards his own house and turned to wave awkwardly at the girl, he was obviously very embarrassed. Who wouldn't be after jumping into their long term crushes pool first thing in the morning. He also knew he couldn't really explain why it had happened considering he didn't know himself.

Later that day, Delainey stood back and watched as Jackson slammed Scott's locker shut, "Alright little man, how about you tell me where you're getting your juice", she knew Jackson had no idea that more supernatural forces had been at work when it came to Scott's newfound lacrosse abilities and Jackson was clearly jealous.

"What?", Scott asked having no idea what Jackson was talking about, but Jackson repeated himself, slower this time, "Where are you getting your juice?".

Scott took a few seconds looking around at the almost empty corridor, "My mom does all the grocery shopping". "Now listen McCall, you're gonna tell me exactly what it is and who you're buying it from, because there's no way in hell you're out there kicking ass on the field like that without some sort of chemical boost", Jackson was clearly becoming more agitated now.

"Oh, you mean steroids", Scott said looking like a lightbulb had gone off in his head now that he understood what Jackson was talking about, "Are you on steroids?", he then asked Jackson.

Jackson shoved Scott up against a locker and shouted "What the hell is going on with you, McCall?", "What's going on with me?, you really wanna know?" Scott asked and Jackson nodded with a clenched jaw, "Well so would I, because I can see, hear and smell things that I shouldn't be able to see, hear and smell", Scott shouted. Jackson chuckled and lowly remarked, "You think you're funny. Don't you McCall?, I know you're hiding something and I'm gonna find out what it is".

Delainey thought right about now would be a good time to intervene, "Heyyy, Jackass, leave him alone and come help me find Lydia would you?".

"Sure Del", Jackson calmed slightly and Delainey grabbed his shoulder firmly and guided him down the corridor, away from Scott.

She turned her head and looked back at Scott sending him a wink, which made the boy slightly flustered.

Delainey was once again forced to watch lacrosse practice to make sure Scott didn't wolf out, she had been stuck with this job because Thomas and Amara both had class and Derek would look awfully strange watching a couple of high schoolers playing lacrosse.

She was only half heartedly listening to Coaches speech but she could wholeheartedly say he was her favourite teacher, she thought that unlike the others, specifically Mr Harris who seemed to have a vendetta against the girl, coach didn't take life too seriously, and always had a remark that would leave the girl in stitches.
