{ 1 } Wolf Moon.

Delainey Shaw lay sprawled out across her bed whilst chatting on the phone to Lydia Martin, her best friend since they met in elementary school, "So, what are you wearing tomorrow?", the strawberry blonde on the other end of the line asked Delainey. She was about to answer when she heard a shrill scream and a loud crash coming from outside.

Even Lydia had heard it, "What was that?", she asked, "One sec Lyds I'm gonna go see", Delainey then looked out of her window and saw her neighbour and his friend, "It's my neighbour and that Miles guy who has a crush on you", Delainey told her.

"Who's Miles?", Lydia asked disinterestedly, Delainey just rolled her eyes and opened her window, "Hey Scott, you guys wanna keep it down, some of us are trying to relax", she shouted at the two boys, "Sorry Del", Scott shouted back but Delainey was already walking away from the window.

She then carried on her conversation with Lydia, where they discussed their outfits so that they could co-ordinate them and make sure they didn't clash. When Lydia had fallen asleep Delainey ended the call, a small smile spread across her face when she looked at the small stuffed penguin that sat proudly on her bed. She then headed out of her room, and saw that her father had left money on the counter with a note saying he wouldn't be back for a while and to order food.

She headed to her older brother's room and banged on the door whilst shouting "TOM", the boy clearly had his headset on with the volume turned up way too high again. Finally he answered the door, "What?", "I was just gonna ask if you wanted Chinese food, Dad left money for us to order".

"Yeah, I'll have...", he was cut off by loud and forceful knocks on the front door, it almost sounded like someone was trying to break in, this of course sounded even louder to the siblings as they were both blessed with supernatural hearing.

"Who the hell is that?", Thomas questioned, "I'll go check, you stay here", Delainey agreed and stood at the top of the stairs waiting to see who it was. Thomas looked out of the peep hole and let out a loud groan of annoyance before swinging the door open.

The person at the door immediately tried to enter the house, Delainey had now realised it was her ex boyfriend, which made her want to throw herself down the stairs headfirst. Thomas placed his hand on Ryan's chest pushing him back slightly, he wasn't even using a fraction of his strength but the other boy was trying his hardest to push against him, however the only movement that could be heard were his shoes skidding across the floor as he was pushed backwards. This was all one giant ick if you asked Deainey.

"Get out of here man", Thomas warned him, "Unless you want your nose broken again". Delainey and Ryan had broken up because she had caught him cheating on her and when she confronted him, he had slapped her in the face.

At the time there were a few people around, including Thomas and whilst he knew Delainey could handle herself, he did what any big brother would do and he stepped in, with a single punch, Ryan was on his back on the floor clutching at his nose, whilst crying. No-one needed supernatural powers to hear the way it had cracked.

Thomas didn't hit him again after that because he could already feel himself losing control, even though Delainey was usually the more hot headed of the two.

Both siblings had started to walk away but not before Delainey kicked Ryan in the balls and told him, "If you ever touch me or anyone else like that again, you'll get much worse than a broken nose".

Back in the house Ryan finally spoke, "Look man, come on. I just wanna talk to Del", "Del, I'm sorry okay, just come and talk to me".

"Fuck off Ryan", Del shouted. Thomas had now had enough, he grabbed Ryan's jacket and bunched it up in his fists before slamming him into the door, lifting him off the floor slightly, "Del doesn't want to talk to you, okay?", Thomas said to Ryan, "And you're gonna leave her alone or me and you are gonna have serious problems", Ryan nodded rapidly, "You understand?", Tom carried on, "Y-yeah, I got it".
