{ 5 } Have you two lost your minds?

Delainey saw the sherif talking to principle in the school hallway and decided to listen in, "We want everyone under the age of 18 to be in their home by 9:30 p.m.", he said. She knew it was because of the body, Laura's body, but she decided to push those thoughts away.

"Nine thirty what a joke, that better be gone by the time my birthday comes around", she said to herself. She saw that Scott was also listening in, so she approached him, "Hey Scotty, I just wanted to let you know that you're invited to my birthday party, it's on...". "The 24th", Scott finished for her, she smiled, "Great, you already know, be there by 10", she then looked at Scott's friend, "You too Miles, bye now". She walked away leaving the two boys in shock that they had been invited to one of Delainey Shaw's parties.

"So Scott came to the old house and they had another fight", Delainey recapped whilst on the phone with Amara, "Yep that's about it".

"I don't get why Derek doesn't just tell Scott he didn't turn him", Delainey sighed. "I know, he should just explain everything to the poor kid, then he might trust him enough to let Derek help him before he kills someone", Amara ranted. "And he warned all of us not to say anything either, I really don't know what he has planned but it sure isn't making all of this easier", Delainey agreed.

"It's hella risky with the Argents hanging around too", Thomas butted in, talking through Amara's phone.

"Oh wow, nice to hear from you giraffe, been missing for hours along with Amara I see, what have you two been up to then", Delainey asked trying to wind up her brother. "Nothing", both Amara and Thomas immediately replied. "Hmmm sure", Del muttered sarcastically knowing very well they could both hear her.

"I'll never understand your obsession with giving people animal nicknames", Thomas told his younger sister trying to change the subject and due to her extraordinarily short attention span it worked. "It's funny, and you know I'm not good with names", she told him. "Whatever" Thomas said.

Delainey had decided to join Lydia and Jackson at the hospital as the two girls were in desperate need of a catch up. Even though Delainey hated hospitals she knew she would be okay because she generally felt more at ease when she was with her red headed best friend.

She was headed back to the waiting area after going to get a snack from the vending machine when she noticed Stiles sitting there, "Miles, congratulations on starting your journey to womanhood", she said sarcastically.

At that moment Scott had returned from the morgue, and tensed up when he saw her knowing she was a friend of Derek's. Stiles however was looking at her confused whilst she just walked away, Scott noticing this pulled the leaflet on the menstrual cycle that Stiles was holding from his hands and waved it in his face whilst shaking his head.

The two boys, knowing Delainey had the same supernatural hearing as Scott did waited until they saw Jackson's car pull away to discuss Scott's discoveries at both the Hale property and the morgue. They had come to the conclusion that Derek had killed the girl and buried her body on his property.

The next day, Delainey was awoken from her lie in by a frantic phone call from Amara. The Hale girl told her that Derek had been arrested because Laura's body had been found by Scott and Stiles and they had reported it to the police.
