How did everything get this so bad? When did this happen? Lily Matthews knew something was going on when the car swerved along the road. She knew this would be the end of all ends.
Lily had just graduated and she wanted to celebrate with her friends—her sister. Her best friend, Chris Morgan was hosting the graduation party. And Lily was going to attend. She and her sister, Emily were going in a car together. Emily was going to drive for the first time since she got her license last week.
When Lily and Emily got on the road Lily knew something was going to happen. She sensed something was going to happen, but she didn't know how bad it was going to be.
Lily sensed this because she was an empath. She can sense, feel, and feel others' emotions and pain, and especially her family's. She can sense when something is going on.
"So..." Emily asked in her sweet innocent tone.
"So?" Lily asked, confused.
"Are you going to make out with Jacen?"
Jacen was Lily's boyfriend of 6 years. They met in 7th grade and he asked her out a few months later. They dated throughout high school. He was rather a caring and loving boyfriend.
Lily smiled. "Should I?"
"Yeah," Emily said, chuckling.
Suddenly Emily groaned and put her hand to her head. Lily looked over at Emily and said, "You okay, sis?" Emily shook her head and her eyes closed.
Lily looked at Emily and screamed when the car crashed into a tree. Everything went dark.
