Tuesday arrived so quickly. I saw Hayden yesterday while he was practicing. I couldn't help but stare at him and how he handled the football.
Annalise picked me up and took me to Hayden's. I was finally feeling more comfortable in the car but the PTSD is still there. I was wearing a white backless long-sleeve shirt, black boyfriend jeans, and black combat boots. My hair was long and flowing as it always was.
When we arrived I saw Hayden packing up his car. His car was a 2013 black Lamborghini Veneno.
"I didn't know Hayden had a Lamborghini," I said, turning towards Annalise.
"Oh, yeah. Myles and Hayden got the cars together about a year ago." She said.
I nodded while getting out and getting my bags. "See you at the campground."
"See you." She smiled big.
She drove away to her house and I walked towards Hayden. He's wearing a black button-down, rolled-up sleeves, and blue ripped skinny jeans. He's wearing white sneakers. His hair is wavy like always.
"Hey Quarterback," I murmured.
Hayden spun around and looked at me head to toe. He smiled as his eyes met mine. He grabbed my bag from my hand. "You look beautiful, Lily."
I blushed. "Thanks."
He closed the door and walked closer up to me. "I have my motorcycle if you want to drive that. I can teach you how to drive it."
"Hayden, I'm fine. I can ride in the car." I assured him.
He cupped my face. His eyes worry about them. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, Hayden, I'm fine. Annalise drove me here. I was fine." I said. Hayden looked at me closely. Our intense gaze never left each other until I broke it off.
"Shall we go?"
He nodded. "We'll have to share a cabin." He said, getting in the driver's side.
I got on the passenger's side. "Oh, that's fine."
"You sure?"
"Yes, Hayd. I'm fine with it."
When we got to the campground two hours later it was buzzing with excitement with everyone settling in. After Hayden and I got settled in our cabin we joined everyone. I sat with Annalise and Skylar while Hayden sat with Myles and Jax.
"So, Hayden hasn't stopped staring at you all night," Skylar said, bubbly.
I looked over at the guys and sure enough, Hayden was staring at me. And when he noticed that I was looking at him, he smiled big at me.
I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. What was he doing? Myles said something and Hayden laughed. I felt a spark when his eyes fell on mine.
"Lily?" Annalise yelled out.
"Huh?"
"I said are you okay? You seem pale."
"Uh, I need some air away from the fire. I'll be back."
I walked to the lake and leaned against a big hallow tree. I looked out at the lake watching the moon glistening out on the moon. How the lake looked so beautiful at night. I heard soft footsteps and Hayden appeared. "Mind some company? I feel like you need some." Hayden said.
"Yeah. I'm just clearing my head." My heart skipped a beat. My stomach was full of butterflies.
We walked a little ways away from the tree in comfortable silence and there was a cool night air coming around us. Hayden turned to face me.
