The stadium was electric with excitement, the roar of the crowd almost deafening. I sat between Annalise and Skylar in the box seats, trying to keep my nerves in check. This was it—the moment I would see Hayden again after taking time to sort through my feelings.

Hayden looked amazing on the field, his focus and determination evident as he led the team. Every time he glanced toward the stands, my heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to talk to him after the game, to tell him everything I had decided.

The game was intense, with every play bringing the team closer to victory. When the final whistle blew, and the scoreboard showed their win, the stadium erupted in cheers. Hayden was surrounded by his teammates, celebrating their triumph.

As the celebrations died down, I made my way to the locker room with Annalise and Myles. My heart was pounding, the anticipation building with every step. When we reached the locker room, I saw Hayden, still in his gear, looking tired but elated.

"Hayden," I called out, my voice barely audible over the noise.

He turned, his eyes widening when he saw me. "Lily," he said, making his way through the crowd to reach me. "Lils, you're here. Finally."

"Can we talk? Somewhere private?" I asked slightly.

He nodded, leading me to a quieter corner of the locker room. Annalise and Myles stayed back, giving us the space we needed.

"Lily, what's going on?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "Hayden, I've had a lot of time to think. About everything. About you, about us."

He looked at me, his eyes filled with a mix of hope and fear. "And?"

"And I realized something important," I said, my voice firm. "I realized that I love you too. I've been scared and confused, but I can't deny how I feel anymore."

His eyes softened, and he reached out to take my hand. "Lily, you don't know how much that means to me."

I squeezed his hand, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "But there's more I need to say. When you told me you saved me from the accident and that you love me, it overwhelmed me. I needed time to process everything, and I realized that I can't imagine my life without you."

He smiled, a look of pure happiness spreading across his face. "I can't imagine my life without you either."

"But I also need to know that we're in this together, that we can face whatever comes our way," I continued, my voice steady. "No more secrets, no more holding back."

He nodded, his eyes filled with determination. "I promise, Lily. No more secrets. We'll face everything together."

I leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "I love you, Hayden."

He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. "I love you too, Lily. More than anything."

The post-game celebrations were in full swing, but Hayden and I found a quiet moment to sit together in the stands, looking out at the empty field.

"You were amazing out there," I said, resting my head on his shoulder.

He smiled, brushing a kiss against my temple. "I had the best motivation."

I chuckled, feeling a sense of contentment settle over me. "So, what now?"

"Now, we take things one day at a time," he said, his voice gentle. "And we make the most of every moment together."
