When I saw Hayden's motorcycle I was hit with a memory of that day. A guy with a serious look was carrying me out of the burning car. I exhaled softly. Haden looked at me. "Are you okay?"

I looked into his eyes. "Yes—yes—yeah. I'm fine."

I put my purse on the back of Hayden's motorcycle as he was getting on. I put on the other helmet and got on. I wrapped my arms around Hayden and felt a familiar feeling.

When we got to the beach I saw Myles and Annalise. They were getting out of their red and black Lamborghini. Hayden parked by their car. Annalise came by the motorcycle and Myles had a bag smiling. Leaning against his car.

"Look who finally joined us," Myles said.

"Oh, fuck off." Hayden shot back.

Myles chuckled.

Annalise helped me get off the motorcycle and she embraced me in a hug. I embraced her back. Annalise smiled. "Um—it's nice to see you again, Mrs. Byron. Mr. Byron." I said looking at Myles.

"Oh, Annalise please."

"And it's Myles, Lily," He said. Side hugging me. "It's nice to see you again."

I smiled. Myles and Hayden walked up to the beach together and Annalise smiled.

"So...may I ask what happened after you left?" She asks, walking.

"Um...he asked me out," I chuckled while I looked at him setting up our blankets. "He asked me to the Quarterback Awards ball."

Annalise smiled so hard. "He's never asked anyone to go with him. He must like you, Lil." I looked at him talking to Myles smiling. I looked back at Annalise. "Maybe," I said.

When we got up to the guys. Annalise went up and kissed Myles. Myles puts his arm around her and they seem like the perfect couple. I wish I had that. For real.

"How long have you been married if I may ask?" I ask.

"We've been married for three years," Annalise said.

"Best three years of my life." Myles looks at Annalise lovingly.

I smiled. "You're so—"

Just then Hayden grabbed me by the waist and placed me on his shoulders. I yelped. I looked at Hayden insanely. He grabbed onto my legs to support me. He looked at me and I finally saw that Myles, Annalise, and the rest of the team were looking at us with googly eyes and smiling.

"Just go with it," Hayden whispered.

"Fine. But Hayden? If you drop me..."

Hayden grabbed onto my legs tighter as he ran into the ocean. The strength of the wave knocked us down. I screamed happily. When Hayden got up he handed me his hand. I was lying in the shallow of the ocean and when I grabbed his hand I pulled him down with all my might.

Hayden falls on top of me. I laughed at him. He looked at me in surprise and he lay next to me. We made eye contact. His eyes spoke volumes. He was hiding something. The water was rushing through our hair. Those blue deep interlocking eyes. He stood back up and leaned in. He grabbed me and put me over his shoulder.

"Now you won't have to pull me on top of you this way."

He spun me around the ocean and I laughed saying, "Hayden." He put me down and we both see that everyone is still looking at us. Hayden looked at me and put his lips to my ear.

"I'm going to kiss you so they can stop looking at us," Hayden whispered looking at the crowd who gathered after me and Hayden got into the ocean.

Hayden slipped his right arm around my waist and he put his other hand on my cheek. He leaned in closer to me slowly and I rolled my eyes and whisper-screamed, "Oh, fuck it." I grabbed Hayden and kissed him gently.
