Wade's ears perked up as he turned to face Weasel.

"There's been a guy trying to hunt you down lately. He keeps asking where you live, where to find you, that kind of thing." Weasel said. He continued to clean the bar while talking.

"What's he look like?" Logan pressed.

"It's just been calls to the bar's phone, so I have no idea what he looks like." Weasel answered. "I just figured you should know. Be careful out there, I've heard that a lot of the mercs are missing right now."

Logan looked to Wade, wondering how he'd respond.

"Tell me if you hear anything else, and I'll keep my eyes peeled. If this guy wants to find me, he'll have to grow some balls and get me in person." Wade responded.

Weasel nodded.

"Well we've gotta close up Margaret's for the night, so I've gotta kick you all out." Weasel told them.

Logan sat down next to Wade on a bench outside of the shawarma shop. It was the same bench that they had sat at when Wade convinced him to move into Al's apartment. Logan started eating quickly since it was really their first meal of the day.

Wade finished first, throwing his trash away and waiting for Logan.

"You wanna head back soon?"

Logan nodded. To be honest, he was still wondering who was trying to find Wade and what they wanted from him. He finished his food and got up with Wade.

"Let's go."

The walk to the house was a short one, not long enough for the need to call Dopinder.

They started the walk back to the apartment, leaving the shop.

"You really need to get a job, peanut. I'm gonna have to start work as a mercenary again to keep up with you at this rate." Wade told Logan.

"What would I even do?" Logan asked. "Get a job at a restaurant cooking kebabs?"

"There are so many options. A birthday clown (but watch out for the eight year olds) or a park ranger, or...!" Wade started to name off random jobs, to which Logan ignored him.

"Or what about a job at the shawarma shop? Oh- you should try to get one at the store next to the apartment. The liquor store would be perfect-!"

"Oh my god shut up." Logan growled. "I'll figure it out."

"But-"

Logan shot a glare at Wade that shut him up immediately. A few moments later, they arrived at the apartment complex. They walked to the stairwell, shutting the door behind them. The cement walls stretched around them, echoing the silence from the two.

Logan stopped walking, followed by Wade, who looked to him questioningly. A shaky, pent up breath escaped Logan's body as he looked back to Wade.

"Lo...?" Wade started. He looked up to Logan and took a small step toward him. "You alright?"

"Damnit, Wade-"

With a swift step forward, Logan's body was pinning Wade to the cold wall, their lips meeting hungrily.

A surge of heat flashed through their bodies, and their arms wrapped around each other. Wade wrapped a leg around Logan's waist, causing a shudder to travel down his spine.

Logan's body was reacting with every move that Wade made. His claws remained partially retracted, his grasp on Wade's clothing desperately tight. His heart was beating quickly, matching Wade's, and his breath had picked up to a rough, heavy pant.

Wade pulled back for air and Logan staggered a couple of steps backward, leaving the two of them each a tangled knot of nerves.

"We're gonna finish this later, bub." Logan said. Despite the amount of sensitivity he had toward Wade, he kept his aggressive demeanor.

"We better. Goddamn Lo...." Wade panted.

Logan walked up the stairwell with him, following his footsteps back to the apartment. When they reached it, Wade pushed the door open to reveal an empty home. Al's cane was missing- a sure fire way to tell that she had left. It was laundry day, so she was most likely at the laundromat at the moment.

Wade looked to Logan- They both knew what this meant.

The bedroom door slammed behind them, and so did Wade's body onto the floor. Logan climbed on top of him, causing the two to start wrestling for the upper position.

Eventually Logan won, knocking Wade onto the floor once and for all. Wade double tapped his shoulder, signaling his surrender.

Logan stared down at him, straddling Wade's body. He cracked a smile, which was returned by Wade, and bent down to kiss him again.

Logan immediately stopped, looking back toward the door. Wade tried to pull him back, but Logan didn't move.

"Al's home." Logan said, standing up. He could hear her footsteps approaching the apartment.

Wade got up beside him as she unlocked the door.

Or tried to. After a few wrong keys and muffled 'Motherfucker's, Logan walked to the door to let Al inside.
