Hey...peanut?

Beep-beep-beep—

Wade groggily flipped onto his side and fumbled for the off button on his alarm clock. He took a breath, quickly realizing the scent of old blood and sweat in the room. His eyes snapped open and he was met with the reminder that Logan was next to him. The alarm clock went silent, and the absence of it was somehow louder to him.

Wade was usually not one to get nervous, but something about having a man who had to leave his timeline to save yours, you met basically- how long ago? Time runs differently in the TVA.-but now he was in his bed?

"Hey...peanut?"

Logan stayed asleep, lacking his usual scowl. Kinda weird, it's like half of the man's appearance. Wade quietly got up, trying not to wake him up. He decided to take a shower-he needed one after everything. Hopefully Logan would still be asleep by the time he came back.

The hot shower water ran over Wade's scarred body, sending steam into the air. He had gotten more comfortable with his appearance, but it was still not pretty to see. The steam quickly reached and fogged the mirror; it was a must for him to get out of the shower.

Wade couldn't lie- he really did like Logan. A lot. Past his quieter, serious side, he was a really decent person. The guy could deal with all of his bullshit in a way that most people didn't, and the two had an unspoken understanding of fighting. Wade got bored super easily, which prompted him to annoy the shit out of Logan. In return, he'd get the guts beaten out of him, but it was all in good fun. Logan had stuff he wouldn't ever talk about that he liked to release too, so it was beneficial for both of them.

He shut off the water, getting out and wrapping a towel around his waist. He opened the door to see Logan was missing. Wade walked over to his closet, grabbed a pair of clothes, and put them on quickly. He walked to the kitchen area to see him and Al having a conversation about something.

"Good to see you two grouches are getting along!"

Logan turned to look at him, as did Al.

"Well I hate to say it, but it's your turn for the shower, Wolvie. Either that or you sleep with Blind Al."

Logan groaned, facing Wade.

"Wade...I don't even have clothes to change into."

He took a moment to consider this, realizing they were stuck in another timeline. The poor guy had slept in his suit, and Wade had been too tired to even notice.

"Oh-right, sorry. Well...shopping spree today! Get yourself in the shower, you can borrow my clothes for today, but I'll buy you some new ones at the mall later."

Logan nodded in thanks, following Wade to the shower.

"Use whatever you need," said Wade. "There's soap in there, we can get anything else you need later."

Logan shut the door behind him. Wade was honestly just really excited to spend time with Logan. Until he remembered his mode of transportation for the moment: the beaten to shit Honda Odyssey.
