After Algebra was English, which the building that class was in happened to be right next door. Being that it was just the first day, he hadn't met anyone. Sure he sat next to some people, but the only interactions were a nods of aknowlegement whenever you accidentally made eye contact.

Both professors seemed fine. He had over heard some students say some things about the Algebra teacher, but he just seemed like a normal teacher.

Honestly, all he could think about was seeing Lix again and meeting some possible new friends. Of course, there was always the possibility that he would never befriend them himself and they would be friends of a friend...

Eiher way he would have people to do group activities with when he felt like it. It's been a while since he's had that. He was never in a place long enough to actually make friends for the year he was abroad. He was in each place long enough to relish the aesthetic of a slow life in the vibes of each area, then moved on.

He weaved his way through the overly full halls of students, making his way to the door and to open spaces. There he would move to the side and let Felix know he was officially out of class and ready to find the cafeteria. Felix responded a few minutes later letting him know he was finally headed out of his own class as it went a little long.

"On the first day?" Jisung muttered to himself.

He gently shook his head and just waited patiently, the only students flowing out of the building being the stragglers that had stayed back to ask extra questions or commune with friends inside.

A cool breeze blew through, the trees rustling in response and Jisungs hair blowing into his face. His black hair covering his closed eyes. He inhaled the breeze, allowing himself to just take in the moment. There may not have been anything happening in that moment for him to take in, but appreciating the moments of nothing were how he learned to, in a way, slow down time.

Life was so busy in high school for him that the slowness of that gap year felt like a culture shock. Before he was able to embrace it, he felt like he was supposed to be doing something productive at all times. That gap year was the best decision he ever made.

"JIJI!" Felix screamed before full on running into him as he hugged him.

Jisung only had time to open his eyes and find the source before he was thrown off balance and had to cling to Felix to keep from falling.

"Felix! Don't scare me like that!"

"I couldn't have you falling asleep on me, so I made sure to give you a good wake up call," Felix laughed.

The worked toegther to get Jisung standing up right again.

"I was just, enjoying the breeze, thats all."

"Oh. Well how about something hot from the cafeteria to keep us warm?"

Jisung smiled amd linked his arm with Felix's.

"That sounds amazing."

Felix helped him throught the line and how it works. It was pretty easy. He picked from the food set out, some preportion such as poke bowls or sushi sets, and others you had to tell the lunch servers what you wanted and they put it on a plate for you and then hand it over.
