Jisung ended up being wildly early to the mall since he had a chauffeur who could navigate his way through traffic, meanwhile the others had to rely on either the public transport, or the college bus that would run at certain times to certain areas. So, of course, what else would he do to waste time than to go and get himself some coffee and cheesecake?

Nothing.

He will always go for coffee and cheesecake.

The line was surprisingly long. As he waited, he casually scrolled through his photo gallery. He deleted a few things here and there to hopefully clear up storage space. Why not go on social media? Well he couldn't control what popped up on his feed and who could see his phone screen. So he chose something he could control.

By the time he was at the front and about to order, Felix had texted that they were close and to meet them at the biggest department store on the west side.

"Hi, what can I get for you today?" the barista asked him, like she did every customer.

"Hi, um. I'll have a, uh. Let's do a large Iced Americano. And I'll do a slice of cheesecake as well," Jisung replied, just as he had rehearsed it. Excluding the um's and uh's, of course.

"Will that be here or to go?"

"To go, please."

"A name for the order?"

"Peter," Jisung lied. He never gave out his real name. They never knew how to spell it or pronounce it, so instead he used the name of his favorite superhero. Plus, why not?"

"Okay, your total is going to be 11.87. Will that be cash or card?"

"Card," he replied and he began digging through his pockets. He started at the front right, then the left, then both back pockets, and even his cargo pants pockets.

He forgot his wallet.

And he forgot to add the card onto his phone.

He had no way of paying.

Except, he did have friends who had just arrived at the mall.

"I'm so sorry, let me just call my friend. He'll come pay for it," he told the barista. "Hello, Felix?"

Suddenly the man behind him in a hat rushed forward.

"I don't have time for this bullshit," he grumbled and slid, what Jisung could only assume, was his phone with the notes application open detailing his complicated order.

"I'm sorry, this will only take a mo—"

"If you had your fucking card, Princess, maybe it would," MINHO snapped.

Jisung was stunned. He didn't know what to do.

The barista announced his order being at least double what Jisung's was. He couldn't fathom what kind of monstrous drink he had gotten, unless he added other food, too. Or maybe he was buying for him and his friends. Or—

"Get out of the way," Minho commanded and grabbed Jisung's shirt's shoulder, dragging him to the side where the orders came out.

"But my—"

"It's been ordered."

"My . . . did you pay for my order?"

"No, I paid eleven dollars for you to hurry up so I could get my order."

Minho scrolled on his phone, completely ignoring Jisung.

"Do I owe you?"

"You will if you don't shut the fuck up."

"Noted."

Jisung couldn't tell if Minho was being nice, or if he was still an asshole. Mostly he was leaning towards asshole that saw a benefit in doing something nice. Yeah, that seemed in character.

Jisung's phone began to buzz.

Felix.

He glanced at Minho who continued to pay him no mind. He declined the call and quickly texted Felix about the situation.

"For Minho, Iced Americano, Cheesecake, and . . . the other drink?"

Minho grabbed his hot drink and walked out faster than Jisung took to walk up to the counter.

Hopefully they wont run into each other anymore.

Eventually Jisung found his friends right where they said they would be. They wre digging through all the items on the racks when Jisung arrived.

"Dude, what happened?" Felix asked, not even greeting him first.

"i don't really know. I forgot my wallet and Minho paid for my stuff, but he was rude about it?"

"Sounds about right," Seungmin mused and sipped on his cold brew.

"What did you get a coffee?" Chan asked him. "We've been together this entire time."

Seungmin shrugged and took another sip.

"Ok, well now I want one," Felix said.

"You don't even like coffee," Jisung reasoned.

"I meant a fun drink."

"Like a unicorn themed one?" Chan asked.

"No. A fun drink is any drink that tastes good that isn't water."

"Never heard of it," Seungmin commented, now holding a second iced coffee.

"Seungmin, what the fuck?" Chan exclaimed.
