Hello all! I want to thank you for reading Discordant Note this far. I know it's been a long journey for those who have been reading.

Here's a fun little tidbit for perspective: Volumes 1 - 7 of canon TBATE were 673,626 words. From Volumes 1-4 of DN, we're sitting at 830,000 words. And DN Volume 5 has surpassed 300,000 words as I near writing the end.

It's no secret by now that this story means a lot to me. The Beginning After the End came at a pivotal part of my life when I was trying to discover who I was after a great change. It wasn't your typical identity crisis, I'd say. But at the very same time I was questioning all of this, I started reading TBATE Volume 8: Where Arthur---and by extension, the series as a whole---began to remake itself in a sort of Renaissance. This has made TBATE exceptionally important to me.

What you all are reading, on some (Discordant) note, is a sort of thesis on who I would like to be and who I am already, while also paying homage in a 1 million word long love-letter to the series that was there with me all along. I love this series with all my heart. I want to see the characters within grow, find their happiness, and be done justice for all that they've done for me.

On a sadder note, I unfortunately have a strict university schedule. Toren Daen might have gotten hit by a truck and taken away from his coding dreams, but I did not. Thus, I'm going to have to reduce the upload rate of DN going forward. Instead of 4 chapters a week, I'll release 3: on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

(I hope all of you will stick around for what I have in store! DN will have 7 Volumes total.)
