‘Miss Y/l/n! Miss Y/l/n!’
Ever since Y/n had touched down in the city, cameras and interviewers were all in her face, shouting loud questions as she dragged her suitcase behind her down the airport terminal, her sunglasses blocking out her eyes full of emotion; Nayeon had told her to keep a cool front out in public, not to crack under the pressure. She hadn’t even been back for five minutes and already things were chaotic.
Pushing through the crowded airport she finally saw the doors, soon she’d be back in the safety of her own home enjoying a cup of coffee.
‘Miss Y/l/n why did you go back to her after everything she did!’
The screaming of the people made her head swirl. She stopped in her tracks and folded her sunglasses back into her pocket- she just needed to stick to the statement she’d already put out.
‘Nayeon never cheated on me’ she sighed loudly, as she entrapped the people with her words, they watched her with beady eyes, waiting for her to mess up and drop her guard. ‘If you call those photos cheating then I guess I cheated on her as well, it disappoints me that so many people believe these false claims that have little to no evidence.’
She put her sunglasses back on and continued through to the doors, her heart beating out of her chest as their voices got louder with more and more questions, some so stupid she wouldn’t even think of dignifying with an answer. Her car was parked out front, ready to drive her away from this crowd the second she said go. She opened the car door quickly and with force, throwing herself in and slamming it shut before any person could shove their head in through the cracks hoping to find something.
‘Drive’ She ordered promptly- she was ready to leave, ready to go back home.
‘Kind of disappointed you haven’t noticed me yet.’ She turned her head to the seat next to her- Nayeon sat there, looking more tired than she ever has in her life, she smiled widely, her heart glowing with surprise.
‘’Nayeon? What are you doing here?’
‘I said I’d call you when you got back but I heard your flight was today and I couldn’t stay away’
‘I’m so glad you’re here’
Without warning Y/n slammed her lips against Nayeon’s with need, her eyes felt tearful with so many different emotions, she felt like she had gone for years without her, even though it's only been two weeks, her soul was starving but now she felt full again.
‘I missed you’ Y/n breathed out between long kisses, pressing her lips against Nayeon’s jaw, amused with how flushed she was ‘I missed you so much’
‘Mm things have been so stressful’ Nayeon groaned out, feeling her hands roam her body.‘I’ve needed this badly’
‘I’m here now, you don’t need to worry anymore’ she whispered lovingly as Nayeon smiled into her, she pulled away from Nayeon and turned to her driver ‘change of plans, can you take me back to the penthouse please?’
‘You want to come to mine?’ Nayeon asked confusingly ‘don’t you want to go home and relax?’
‘I’d much rather be with you, I can go home later’
‘Well I’ll make sure you feel at home there’ she smiled warmly, Y/n blushed at her kindness. She hadn’t been to the penthouse since she left, part of her was worried to go back to a place that held so many bad memories for them but when Nayeon gave her that warm look she knew everything was going to be fine.
It felt different being back at the penthouse, she stood at the door while Nayeon fiddled with the keys, she felt like she was coming home after an extremely long day, sure she loved the new townhouse she purchased but something always felt missing, it never made her feel as at home as the penthouse did. As Nayeon opened the door she immediately stepped in, scanning the room with welcoming eyes- it was different, every single piece of furniture had been replaced and moved to a different position, she wasn’t sure if she liked it at all.
