chapter - 9

   As the days roll by, our eye contacts were becoming more frequent and it is becoming an inevitable part of my day. But the surprising factor was I didn't initiate it today. I felt that someone was looking at me for a while and I turned around to check who it is. The two little eyeballs of my kitty was pinned on for a long time. As usual her eyes drew me deep into it. Oh my gaawwdd!! This time both of us were lost in each other's eyes. And the best and the happiest thing was ; SHE WAS ACTUALLY NOT IN LOVE. NOT ONLY NOW BUT ALSO NEVER SHE HAS BEEN!!! From Jerome I came to know that she gets inspired by fictional couples/men and write poems based on those men or couples, the chemistry they shared. Jerome started doubting us. He is a mutual friend of myself and my kitty(mine). I was not sure whether my kitty was lost in me or lost in her thoughts. Whatever, but I'm damn sure that she is lost. Who knows she might be lost in the thoughts of me. Haha-ha-haa I'm just living in my delusional world these days. BECAUSE. OF. HER. MY CUTE - LITTLE - KITTY♡

   "Mom" Anamika was screaming with joy while entering her house. "Anu, what's the matter? Your face was lit up with happiness" , her mom asked out of curiosity. I'm going for camping and trekking mom, our college's dept of NCC arranged it mom. This gonna be the 1st trip of my college life. That's why I'm so excited, mom. Enjoy your trip Anu. Mom as Shruthi's parents will be out of town during the trip, I asked her to stay at our house for a night mom. Are you okay with my plan? It's fine, Anu. I'm so happy that your bond is developing in a good way. Should I make a call and ask her to stay or..?? No, mom. That's not necessary. She is a easy-going good soul. She'll feel awkward only if we do so. You can treat her in the same way you treat me. All she except from us is to not treat her as a stranger or outsider, mom. Okay Anu... I'm so curious to meet her. "To meet whom?" Ajay interrupted. Anu's friend gonna stay in our house, Ajay. Oh okay mom. "Then shall I invite Aarvin, Anu??", Ajay asked Anu with a creepiest smile. I'll kill you b-i-g f-o-o-l!! They both started to chase each other and the place was filled with laughter.

   Mom, Please. This is my first trip in college, please allow me mom, do you know even dad agreed to our plan mom. Let me stay in Ana's house for a night and enjoy the trip next day, mom. Within a month how could you become so close Shruthi?? Whatever, but while looking at the photos you've shown me she seems to be a good girl. But won't her parents scold her for bringing her friends home? "Mom",On hearing the ring of her mobile she went and picked up her mobile from the coffee table and shown her mom that Ana is the one calling her. After showing it, Shruthi picked up the call. Hi Ana. Hey Shruthi, what did your parents tell, did they agreed to our plan? My dad got convinced and he agreed to our plan but  my mom... what about your mom? Wait.... she want's to talk to you. Hi aunty, I'm Anamika. Hi ma, How are you? Fine aunty, what about you and uncle? Everyone is fine ma. Aunty, will you please allow Shruthi to stay at my place for a night. Without her, I won't go on a trip. Fine ma, I'll let her to stay at your place. Tqsm aunty. I'm happy to see your bond. Let this last forever dear. For sure, aunty. Ok ma, wait a minute, I'll handover to Shruthi. Shruthi's face was glowing like a shining beam of the sun. "Ana...", Shruthi screamed out of joy. "We made it dude", Ana shouted out of excitement.

   Shruthi was busy packing for the trip and the night stay. Her parents started to give a mundane advice as every Indian parents would do. After that Shruthi went to her bed and she was rolling and jumping over the bed out of excitement. In the meantime, she recieved a notification. Shruthi opened the notification and it was Ana. Can't wait for morrow,dude. I'm rolling on my bed out of excitement and I couldn't sleep peacefully and the happiness was partying happily in the each and every chamber of my heart, dude. Their chat continued till 1.00 AM.
