Chapter - 11

  This is my fav place in our whole house, Shruthi. I would like to spend hours and hours just by playing swing, enjoying the gentle breeze, sunsets and chirupping of birds. I hope you'll also fall in love with this place soon. Oh! Anu,  I've already fell in love. I'm just admiring the clouds. See they are just looking like the pieces of cotton balls stuck in the waves of the bluest ocean. Heyy!! See there, there's a bunny like us. Yeah!! It is exactly looking like a bunny, Anu. Both started to find so many creatures by looking at the shape of clouds spread across the blue sky. Suddenly both of them heard a wierd sound. Anu, It's coming from your stomach?? I think you are feeling hungry. Go just grab your bowl of salad. Okay shruthi, I'll back at once I filled my tummy.

   Shruthi was lost in the beauty of the sky. And she was sitting in the swing motionlessly. Suddenly the swing started to move. She was frightened by the sudden movement of swing. When she turned she saw those eyes which has spoken a lot to her at the noon. "Ajay!!", she exclaimed. Hello, my cute lill bunny. What are you looking at? I was just lost in the beauty of the sky. "And I'm lost in you!!", little bunny. "What??", she blushed and tried to ran away from the place. But her body didn't obey her. It just reacted to the words of Ajay. There was a smile at her lips and her cheeks were just burning crimson red. The words were lingering all through her body. He couldn't help but fall for her again and again.

  Shruthi, where are you? Come to the kitchen dear. Coming, Anu. As soon as she stood up from the swing Ajay sat there looking at her romantically. Shruthi smiled at him and ran quickly to the kitchen. Ajay was looking at her till her shadow vanished. What's up bruh?? Come let's make dinner. Aww... that's a fantastic idea, I love cooking. That's great!! What're the dishes we gonna make now? Mom said she left noodle cakes in the second drawer below the stove, while I was searching for it I found a packet of Macaroni too. How about making mac & cheese?? Okay, then let's make three mugs of mac & cheese then noodles. How about adding roasted broccolis and sauted spinach, they'll go well with mac & cheese.

  Okay, then let's start the prep. Shruthi first I'll put the noodle cake and macaroni in boiler. You start collecting the ingredients  required. Anu, I think we don't have cheese, what shall we do now? Shall we change it to masala macaroni then? No, Shruthi. I prepared my tummy for mac and cheese. I think we don't have braccoli too. So just call Ajay for help, he will accompany you to buy these....... "I'm ready", Ajay interrupted Anu. Shruthi felt so nervous. Her heart started to race. You idiot... how dare you overhear our conversation? What's wrong with it? I was just passing by the kitchen and I heard my name... that's why I came here. You big fool just shut up and accompany Shruthi to the nearby supermart.

Shruthi and Ajay was completely lost in each other. Both was standing like a statue and their eyes forget to blink. "IF. YOU. WANT. DINNER.", Anu added. Fine, I will take her to the mart. That's good for you. Shruthi happened to you? Why are you looking so flushed? Is anything wrong with you? No, Anu. I'm completely fine. It's just because I'm standing near the stove for a long time. I'll refresh myself and go with him. Okay Shruthi. If he is troubling you just tell me. I've thousands of ways to trouble and torture him. Just shut up little fool.

  And I'm lost in you!! Little bunny. The words echoed in her mind again and again. Butterflies was fluttering throughout throughout her body. Shruthi couldn't get the words out of her mind. She got refreshed and went downstairs quickly. She noticed Ajay waiting for her near the door. She waved a quick bye to Anu and ran towards Ajay. "Shall we?", Ajay asked in a romantic tone and he held out his hand. Once again butterflies started fluttering inside her stomach. Her lips were parted and her mouth fell wide opened. He laughed at her and they started to walk.

  Both remained silent throughout the whole evening. They shared little smiles while having their dinner. Ajay felt little shy for what he had done to her. He himself convinced that "What I done may be too quick. Coz, no one would held out his hand as if they gonna walk down for their wedding at the same day they have met. But I don't know when I gonna see her next. So, there is nothing wrong to express my feelings to her.

  The next morning Ajay dropped Anu and Shruthi at the campus and waited there till the bus started. He waved bye to Anu, Shruthi and Aju with a smile.
