"TTTsssuukkkiii!" Yamaguchi yells with all him might whilst dashing towards the blonde friend.

Tsukishima paused and turned around to only be shocked by Yamaguchi's eagerness and speed towards him. Calming down once his friend paused in front of him to catch his breath.

"What?" The blonde-haired male spoke.

"Tsukki. . . You have always been so smart and capable of doing everything -(he paused to stand up straight and continue to speak in a bold manner)- *huff* *huff* *puff* I've always envied you,"

Though Tsukishima's expression looked composed, deep down was confounded by the dark green-haired boy's words. So he responded.

"So. ."

At first, Yamaguchi hesitated but remembered the words that Suzuki advised him.

"My advice to help him ignite his passion is to talk to him about how uncool he's been,"

"But you've been so lame lately!! Hinata will probably be a little giant someday," His frustrations began to rise out of him - now physically gesturing his point out, "Why don't you just try to beat him then? You can just prove to him that you're so much more skilled than him. . . You're tall, you're clever, and you can read the ball so well . . .Why do you think you're no better than anyone else!?!" Yamaguchi ends with his heavy breaths huffing.

". . ."

Tsukishima didn't respond - his mind processing those words carefully.

"Even if I tried my best . . . so much that I become Karasuno's best player. What's going to happen next? Even if we make it to the Nationals, where do we go next? There are so many who are better than us. Even if we end up doing well, we'll never be number one!" Unconsciously, he began to yell out in anger, "We'll lose someday! Everyone knows that. . .But who do we have to work so hard?"

Meanwhile, Yamaguchi gritted his teeth becoming even more infuriated at his friend's negative view. His mind recalled the time that he wasn't able to float jump a serve at Aoba Johsai. The moment that scarred him - feeling so ashamed for not helping his fellow teammates in trying to beat their foes.

However, he knew that it was he who needed to carry that burden, trying his hardest to perfect his serve and bring glory to Karasuno. Hearing Tsukishima's response caused him to unconsciously grip his friend's white t-shirt and pull him close. Tsukishima was baffled by Yamaguchi's exasperated expression.

"That's. . . . How remarkably uncool of you, Tsukki!!!!! What else do we need besides pride?!"

               He couldn't believe it.

His timid friend who was always beside him was telling him off - especially how uncool he was acting. For the first time, it was the dark green-haired male who stood up to him, the moon revealing itself from the clouds as the two stared into each other.

He was proud of how grown his best friend was.

"Who knew. . ." Yamaguchi released his grip, hearing his tall friend's voice and just knew a scolding was coming, " . . . that this day would come,"

Only to come in shock when those words came out of his lips. Yamaguchi was puzzled.

"What?"

He was even more baffled when a tiny (yet noticeable) smile was located on Tsukishima's lips.

"When did you become so cool? You're really cool,"

It was a compliment that Yamaguchi was shocked and began to ramble.

"Ah well. . . I wasn't sure how I could help you but Suzuki-chan really helped me to figure out that I should just talk to you. She believed that I was the only one who could put some sense into you,"

"Don't push your luck," Tsukishima grumbled playfully.

However, Yamaguchi didn't hear the playfulness in his voice that he just flinched and responded. "Yes, Tsukki,"

The blonde-haired student turned his back on Yamaguchi, his smile becoming even larger.

Yamaguchi was right.

His behaviour in volleyball was lame and uncool. But he was going to change that.

"But still I can't accept it. I'm going to ask someone," was all he said before leaving Yamaguchi under the moonlight.

And as he walked through the dim-lit pathway, his mind went to Suzuki.

"Tch," he smiled unconsciously at the thought, "That pipsqueak,"

Also, I used the Netflix translation and tweaked it a little for my story - I like watching in sub. But there are a few animes that I like watching dub.
