That evening, in the capital city of Melromarc, there was a celebration happening at the castle. It was a celebration for the heroes who defeated the Waves and fended back against the catastrophe. Everyone gathered in the castle, all of them drinking and partying and enjoying the classical music that was being played. All of the heroes were all being praised by everyone in the hall.

"Thanks to our heroes, the battle was splendidly won. And tonight, we celebrate!" King Aultcray announced happily to everyone, all now cheering on. "Enjoy yourselves to the fullest!"
"Weren't the heroes fantastic?" Some of the noblemen and noblewomen spoke out as they talked about what had happened during the Wave of Catastrophe earlier. "Our country has nothing to worry about. And the latest reports say that there were very few casualties. We all owe everything to our brave heroes."
One hero, meanwhile, sat in a corner, looking out the window while thinking about the wave and the encounter with Indominus. 'This is ridiculous. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for the reward.' He then thought about Indominus. 'A mechanical shapeshifter in this world... Huh, makes it seem easier than it really is.' He then looked out the window and he spotted two people walking into the castle from below. One that had long silver hair with mechanical wings on her back, and the other in a black cloak with a red/black helmet and mask. 'I'll be damned, he actually came.' He thought.
"Master Naofumi!" A familiar demi human ran up to him. Raphtalia had a small smile on her face when she saw him.
"Yes, Raphtalia?" Naofumi acknowledged to his companion.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to eat some of the food with me? It's really good! You should try it." Raphtalia offered to him, showing him a plate that had a slice of cake, her trying to hand it to her.

Naofumi shook his head. "Don't worry about me, you just enjoy yourself." He replied to her with a soft smile on his face.
Raphtalia frowned. "But-" She was cut off when the doors to the courtyard of the castle were opened, and in walked a man in a black cloak and red/black helmet and mask, alongside a silvery-haired girl with metal wings on her back. She was shocked to see them, as were a few people.
