After that evening when Indominus fought Motoyasu and won that battle, even though Myne attempted to try and sabotage the duel, both he and Ventus had made their way up to the castle so they could get their reward. They met up with the other four Heroes, the two taking note of Naofumi's disdain of being here too. Indominus gave a nod to the Shield Hero while he and Ventus stood by, Raphtalia giving a wave to Ventus, all of them standing in the throne room with the King.

"As a reward for his efforts during the Wave and for fulfilling my request, Master Motoyasu will receive 3,800 silvers." King Aultcray spoke out as some women in fancy dresses hand the heroes their bags of coin. "And Young Masters Itsuki and Ren will receive 3,400 silvers. Finally, I have set aside 800 silvers for both the Shield Hero and Transformer Hero."
Naofumi narrowed his eyes as he glared on, he and Raphtalia both feeling like they're being cheated just because of the king's hatred of the Shield. Indominus could only give out a darkening glare and snarl, the woman before him looking scared.
"Wait a second, that's not gonna fly." Itsuki spoke up, getting Naofumi and Raphtalia's attention as they look over in surprise, Indominus and Ventus doing the same. "You were the one interfering in Indominus' duel, and now you refuse to pay him and Naofumi what they both deserve? That isn't exactly fair play."
"Yeah, that's right." Ren acknowledged back as well. "If you'd followed the rules, Indominus Prime clearly would've won the duel." He said to Motoyasu.
"Wha--Are you crazy? I didn't lose!" Motoyasu stated back.
"I'm afraid you're both mistaken, Sir Itsuki, Sir Ren." Myne spoke up innocently.
"Hey, the Cardinal Heroes are talking, you. Shut your mouth right now." Ventus spoke out, Myne looking like she had been slapped across the face.
"You cheated by firing a magic spell at him." Itsuki pointed out firmly to Myne.
"Besides, when the Wave hit, it was both Indominus and Naofumi who had defended that village, not the knights." Ren added in next as a point-of-fact. "So if you ask me, it would be the right thing to fairly compensate the both of them." That made Myne glare in anger.
"Fine. I shall afford the the minimum agreed amount, but there will be nothing else." King Aultcray spoke up, the women standing before Naofumi and Indominus now giving them the agreed amount, both of them taking the bags. "Well, you have it, so begone already!" He ordered to the two.
"Fine by me." Indominus snarls. "Ventus, let's move." With that, he turns on his heel and began to walk away, the other heroes watching him now leave with his companion.

Later on, Indominus and Ventus had made it back to the Cybertronian Imperium, the former telling the latter that he'll be over in the science/medical bay for the time being. Ventus acknowledged this, the leader going off as the demi-human opted to go ahead and go do some training.
