So after a while of deliberating and thinking, and brain storming. I finally figured out how I want to Rewrite AGGB and it's plot.
The main thing I keep running into is that the power ups that Xinon needs to face some threats as far as the system goes, are also the ones that make him completely unbeatable when he uses his full power.
However a lot of this is mainly because I'm keeping quantifying his strength with numbers as a gamer story. So I'm going to be rewriting this book as a non-gamer story, and somehow I'm gonna find a way to keep the plot and weapons and gains and what not as close to the same as I can.
This way, we can have a Xinon who's just as experienced and he is currently with his knowledge and skills intact just without the extra assistance of a system that makes him so impossibly hard to power scale against everything else.
If I don't do this, then everyone else who's meant to be stronger than Xinon is essentially going to become a moving goalpost until I get to the point, narratively, where I wanted Xinon to actually be stronger than everyone.
I won't delete the original, however I will make this a separate book, and AGGB will likely become discontinued.
However, until I decide on that, whenever I do write, I'm going to try advancing the original AGGB'S story so that you guys are left on an eternal cliffhanger with a shit ton of unresolved plot points.
I hope you guys can understand where I'm coming from, and I'm honestly really excited about doing this rewrite, it's honestly gonna be the thing that gives me any motivation to work on AGGB again. Because as much fun as I have working with my own shitpost of a story, I also dread having to pull up my calculator and my notes app every time just to keep track of whatever new multiplier that Xinon's gotten a hold of and that's now going to break my whole power scale again.
