Buffy walked out to Spike with the thickest blanket she could find ( she insisted that she didn't particularly want him to live-but he had become a part of the scenery... an annoying part, granted, but necessary all the same) and threw it in his face. "You better get out of my yard or I'll get you out myself. With no blanket. In the sunlight," she threatened.

"Ok...calm down, goldilocks... I'm off." He took the blanket and chucked it over his head. He got in a running position and then sprinted into the sunlight. The blanket was already smoking. Buffy sighed (again).

"See ya."

Back in the kitchen, Willow leaned over to Tara. "Do you think Buffy's ok? She seems a little...umm.... preoccupied," Tara smiled."She's the Slayer, Will. She'll figure it out." Willow relaxed. Tara always made everything better. Still, Willow worried. She had just seen Buffy standing in front of Spike and neither of them had said a word. It was like they were communicating with their thoughts... eerie. "But Tara, did you see them? They didn't say anything to each other, they just sort of stood." Tara smiled reassuringly again. "Well, they do hate each other, I mean, it might just be them giving each other the silent treatment." Willow wasn't sure but she nodded her head anyway. She heard a voice... Tara Tara, you have a lot to learn... Willow looked around her (who could it be?) but there was only the scoobies... and you... you are nearly ready, said the voice. I just can't wait.
