Buffy burst through the door, closely followed by Anya, then a puffing Willow, panting Tara, and gasping Xander.
"We ran all the way here! What is it? What happened? Are you ok?" Everyone was stumbling over their own words. "And not a 'hello' in sight," Giles sighed. Buffy repeated a very important question: "What happened?" Giles looked up at her, confused, then at the remians of the beautiful displays of magic ornaments he and the others had created. "I... I rather think I've forgotten." The others turned to Willow. "Why are you looking at me? I- I don't know what to do!"
Again with the stares.
"Fine. I have a useful counterspell that can block almost any type of spell or curse. I might need a little help... Tara?" Tara quickly nodded a positive response and the two witches started trying to salvage anything useful from the ruins that could help with their spell. "Ewww... I'm pretty sure that wasn't there before." Willow wrinkled her nose up, holding a piece of fragmented wood covered in green gloop. " 'Venenum athena filia', it looks like. It means 'The poison of Athena's daughter'." Anya's expression suddenly brightened as she excliamed: "Oh, we have books on poisons and which ones belong to which demons. I once had this friend, he was a rozlít demon-" she stopped off everyone's looks. "Inappropriate timing, yes?" She sighed and looked bored."I'll research the poison." She started to look at a mound of fallen books.
Suddenly Spike rammed into the closed door, blanket on his head. "Creature of the night coming through, lemme in-" it opened and he came tumbling in, falling on his head. "Bugger," He mumbled. "Shouldn't us vamps have, like, a brilliant sense of balance?" Then he realised all eyes were on him. "What?" Willow was the only one to answer out of all of the people looking at him (which wasn't all of them since Anya was sulking, looking for books, and Giles was cleaning his glasses. "Um, spike.... where are your clothes?"
