"Mrs.Aayat Sehgal"

The announcement was finally made and Aayat got up from the front row where she sat with the other students of her class and walked towards the stage where she would be handed her degree.

"Mumma!!!"

She smiled brightly at the camera as she could hear her daughter's cheer from amongst the claps and other cheers of her family.

She took her degree shook the hands of her principal and other teachers and got down the stage again sitting on her place.

This feeling was amazing.

She had never in her life imagined that she could hold a PhD ever in her life, marrying at a young age had lef her to think that she would too succumb to being a housewife,the chores of home would never let her study again,kids and husband would be her life too like other girls who get married.

But she was wrong.

Her husband changed everything.

Rotated her life 360°.

That day her groom only didn't changed but her future changed to when she got married to Hriday.

Him being a supportive husband was all she needed in her life.

They had a daughter too,yet he never asked her to sit at home and look after her, instead he was ready to sit at home and allow her to pursue her education.

That was what was different in her life.

A supportive and caring husband,a loving family and the most adorable daughter one could ever have.

She still remembers the judgemental looks her classmates had given her when they had known that she had a 4 year old daughter.

If it would have been the old Aayat she would definitely would have been affected,but this new Aayat who had finally started seeing things through her husband's lens wasn't bothered at all.

"Mumma!"Iti called her excitedly as Aayat made her way towards her family.

A bright smile on her lips,a sense of proudness for herself within her.

"Wohooo!bhabhi,finally aapka college khatam!"Shivansh said excitedly and Aayat chuckled at his antics.

"Congratulations bhabhi!!!you finally did it!"Aashi said as she embraced her in a hug.

"Congratulations beta"Mahir said as he side hugged his daughter in law and patted her head to show that he was proud of her achievement.

Aayat had been disheartened when her parents couldn't come for her convocation 🎓 but the next moment her father in law and mother in law had said that they would be there for her and she had been so happy listening it.

"Congratulations Aayat"Bela too said patting her cheek lovingly.

Finally she turned to her husband and daughter,both had a bright smile on their lips as they stared at her.

"Congratulations Aayat"Hriday said as he could only side hug her because he was holding Iti in his left arm.

"Mumma,aap kitni acchi lag rahi thi,waha stage pr!"Iti said as she just thought her mother looked pretty getting the degree, nothing else made sense to her.

Aayat and the rest of the others chuckled hearing her and smiled at her antics.

"Thank you so much baby"Aayat said as she couldn't resist kissing her daughter's chubby cheek.
