54. A lunch meet

Aayat was just garnishing the sabzi and dal with coriander leaves,rest all the things were done,Hriday was just tidying up the kitchen which was a bit messy because of all the cooking they had done.

"Aap jaldi se isse saaf kijiye hum Iti ko bhi ready kr dete h,kya pata woh log jaldi aa jaye"Aayat said and Hriday nodded.

Aayat went and gave Iti a bath and changed her into a cute pink summer frock,she put a hair band around her hair then.

"Aaj jo guests aayenge na beta,unse baat kijiyega okay??last time woh aapke liye kitni saari chocolates lekr aaye the na?"Aayat said and Iti nodded.

"And be a good girl okay?"Aayat said and Iti nodded.

"Acha chaliye aap hall mein bethiye"Aayat said.

"Hame bhook lagi h mumma!"Iti said as they went towards the living room.

"Acha aap bethiye yaha pr,hum aapke liye kuch lekr aate h khane ke liye"Aayat said as she went to the kitchen and got a snack for her because if she eats something heavy now she won't have lunch later on.

Once Iti was settled with a snack Aayat went to change into a fresh set of clothes and even asked Hriday to wear something presentable because he was roaming around in his pyjamas.

The door bell suddenly rang and Iti as always ran first to open the door.

She opened the door and starred at the ones standing at their doorstep.

"Hello"Mahir said with a sweet smile and Iti didn't responded back,she just stood staring at them.

"Iti unhe ander aane ke liye kahiye beta"Hriday said as he came into the living room and saw Iti at the door.

Iti immediately went and stood beside her father.

Hriday sighed,his daughter was too reserved.

"Aap log ander aaiye"Hriday said as he held Iti's hand and walked towards the door as he welcomed them inside.

Mahir,Bela,Maahi,Aashi and Shivansh entered the house.

"Papa,yeh kitni cute h!!!"Aashi said as she immediately went and lightly pulled Iti's cheeks.

Iti didn't liked it a bit and she hid behind her father.

"Aashu,meine kaha tha woh thodi shy h,you don't have to jump on her,let her be comfortable first!"Mahir said as he pulled his daughter back.

"Pr yeh kitni cute h!!!!"Aashi yet again gushed at her cuteness and Mahir shook his head at his over excited daughter.

"Bethiye aap log"Hriday said and soon enough even Carrie came running towards them,barking at them as he stood beside Hriday.

Hriday yet again sighed.

"Inke paas dog bhi h!!!!oh my goddddd!!I already love them!!!"Aashi said excitedly as she went near Carrie who was still barking at them.

She without any fear still went ahead and patted his head taking him in her arms even though he kept barking at her.Hriday was amused to see that,so she wasn't scared of dogs at all.

"Bas bas,Aashu chod de usse ab,darr jayega woh kutta bichara"Shivansh said.

"Inka naam Carrie h,kutta mat boliye inhe!!"Iti said from behind her father and everyone looked at her with amusement.

"Acha Carrie naam h iska?mujhe toh pata hi nhi tha"Mahir said as he bend down and stared at Iti who too looked at him.

"Aapka doggy h yeh?"Mahir asked and Iti nodded her head at that.
