Bela was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone along with the chef,she looked up and saw Hriday entering the kitchen.
Did he want something??
"Tumhe kuch chahiye tha kya Hriday?"Bela asked and he shook his head at that but frowned when he saw her working in the kitchen alone with just the chef helping her.
This family was huge!!!
And he had noticed that she remains in the kitchen for each meal!
"Aap akeli kyu kr rahi h yeh sab?"Hriday couldn't help but ask.
Was it because she was the oldest daughter in law and that's why she was supposed to do it while the rest were free from it?
His maa also used to do all the work back in Udaipur and he didn't used to like it a bit.
"Akeli kaha hu??yeh h na meri madad ke liye"Bela said pointing towards the chef.
"Laaiye hum bhi madad kr dete h"Hriday said as he saw that tea and coffee wasn't prepared yet.
"Rehne de,tu jaakr ready ho jaa,mein kr lungi"Bela said.
"Hum ho gaye h ready"Hriday said as he put the pot with boiling water for tea.
"2 black coffee banana"Bela said and Hriday scrunched his nose as he heard that.
Who would drink black coffee?
It tasted ewww!!!
"Mahirji aur Maahi peete h"Bela said and Hriday just nodded.
"Tabhi itna kadwa bolti h woh!"Hriday thought in his mind thinking about Maahi but didn't said it out loud to Bela.
"Cooking kese seekhi?"Bela asked with a smile as she saw how perfectly he made the tea.
"Woh hamari ma.....maa ko dekhte dekhte seekh gaye"Hriday said and did hesitated initially but then continued and Bela just nodded hearing that.
"Aap thakti nhi h kya itne saare logo ke liye khana banakr??aapko kya zaroorat h krne ki??househelp h toh aur chef bhi h"Hriday asked and Bela sighed.
"Mujhe accha lagta h,mera hi parivar h na?toh mein nhi khana banaungi inke liye toh kon banayega?....hrr aurat majboori mein yeh sab nhi krti h Hriday!"Bela said not directly addressing his concern but indirectly assuring him that she wasn't being forced to do all this!
She liked it though,he maybe cared for her then if he was concerned about this!
Hriday nodded his head then understanding what she said.
Hriday then decided to fill Iti's lunch box and water bottle for which he was here because today Aayat was getting her ready for her school.
He hoped and prayed that Iti didn't cried today and she doesn't even had a bad day at school!
"Inmein bhi daal dena,3-3 paratha ek mein,aur saath mein ketchup,mein zara Aashu ko dekhkr aati hu,yeh ladki soti hi rahegi wrna!"Bela said passing him the lunch boxes of Kiyan, Abhimanyu,Naksh and Rishi as she washed her hands and left the kitchen.
Hriday then packed their lunch boxes as well and till then Pankhuri had arrived in the kitchen.
"Aree,tum kya kr rahe ho yaha??kuch chahiye tha?"She asked and Hriday shook his head at that.
"Madad krne ke liye aaya tha yeh,Shivansh kaha h meine dekha nhi usse uske room mein?"Bela asked as she again entered the kitchen and answered on Hriday's behalf.
