A disappointment
Echoes in my silent heart
Dreams like shadows fade
Paths laid out for me
Woven with their hopes and dreams
But I took a turn
Whispers in the night
Voices filled with quiet pain
Love wrapped in silence
In their eyes, a spark
Dimmed by choices I have made
Heavy hangs the weight
Yet within the dark
A flicker of my own light
Still searching for peace
To rise from the ash
Rebuild what was lost in time
Hope, a fragile thread
Forgiveness, a gift
Can we mend what's broken here
Time, the healing balm
A journey unfolds
With each step, I seek to find
My place in their hearts
Disappointment's sting
A lesson carved in my soul
Yet love is gone
Through the stormy nights
I will learn to stand alone
A new dawn will break

Villainized
PoetryVillainized is a collection of poems that delves into my personal hell and the struggles I've faced. I am not the hero of my narrative; a minor side-character? Perhaps. The villain? Maybe. The interpretation is yours to decide.
