The day you were born
My heart overflowed with joy
A new chapter starts
Tiny fingers grasped
My hand, a bond unbroken
Love beyond measure
Your cry filled the room
Music to my weary ears
A mother's lullaby
Eyes filled with wonder
Exploring this new world of
Light and love and warmth
Each breath you take in
A melody of life's song
Playing just for you
I watch you grow, change
Each day a miracle
Happiness reigns
Your laughter echoes
Through the halls of our home
Filling it with joy
I hold you close, dear
My precious little one, safe
In my loving arms
Your first steps, stumble
But you rise, determined, strong
Learning to walk tall
Your first words, so sweet
Each one a treasure, a gem
In our family's crown
I see myself in
Your eyes, reflected back at
Me, a mirror image
You are my sunshine
Brightening up each cloudy
Day with your smile
I whisper to you
Sweet lullabies, calming songs
As you drift to sleep
In dreams you wander
Through fields of endless beauty
A world all your own
I watch you grow, change
Each day a new adventure
A journey of love
As you reach for the
Stars, I'll be right there with you
Guiding your way home
You are my heartbeat
The reason for my being
My son, my true love
In your eyes, I see
The future, bright and hopeful
A world of wonder
I cherish each day
With you, my precious angel
My heart, forever
For you, my dear son
I'll be your rock, your fortress
Protecting you always
So here's to you, love
My precious little miracle
My son, my heart's joy
In your presence, I
Find peace, find purpose, find love
My life's greatest gift
And so, my dear son
Know that you are cherished, loved
Beyond all measure
The day you were born
My heart overflowed with joy
A new chapter starts

Villainized
PoetryVillainized is a collection of poems that delves into my personal hell and the struggles I've faced. I am not the hero of my narrative; a minor side-character? Perhaps. The villain? Maybe. The interpretation is yours to decide.
