**Chapter 9: N.ton’s Appearance**
The fierce battle between Alexandron and Ephyon continued to rage across the vast expanse of space. Amidst the debris of the destroyed ships and the wreckage of war, Ephyon launched an ice-coated meteor at Alexandron with an immense force, propelling it through the vacuum. The ice-covered rock hurtled towards Alexandron with a chilling precision, the deadly projectile gleaming against the backdrop of distant stars.
Alexandron braced himself for the impact. In a split-second decision, he activated his arm-mounted cannons and unleashed a barrage of nuclear lasers. The energy beams lanced out in a brilliant array of light, slicing through the cold void with blinding intensity. The lasers hit the meteor head-on, shattering it into countless icy fragments that exploded outward in a spectacular display. Yet, the ice shards only intensified Alexandron’s resolve as he prepared for his next move.
Without missing a beat, Alexandron directed his nuclear lasers towards Ephyon. His arm hummed with a powerful energy as he focused all his might into a concentrated beam. Then, with a flick of his wrist, he fired. The nuclear lasers blazed across space, carving a path of destruction as they rained down upon Ephyon with relentless fury. The beams seemed to curve and dance through the void, each one seeking to find its mark on Ephyon.
But Ephyon was prepared. With a swift motion, he reached out and touched the surface of a nearby Supreme Government spaceship. A shimmering frost spread from his fingertips, enveloping the ship in an icy prison. In an instant, the ship was transformed into a colossal block of ice. Ephyon grinned, his eyes glinting with a fierce light. With a tremendous effort, he hurled the frozen ship towards Alexandron, its icy mass hurtling through space like a comet.
Alexandron narrowly dodged the incoming ice ship, twisting his body in a desperate maneuver to avoid being crushed. He could feel the cold wind of its passing as it soared just inches from his side, the ice ship whizzing past him with deadly intent. Yet Ephyon was not done. He extended his hands, and from them sprouted a network of icy roots that snaked through the void, creeping towards any ship within reach.
Each root moved with a life of its own, darting through space and touching down on the hulls of nearby vessels. The moment a root made contact with a ship, it spread a freezing chill that turned the entire vessel to ice in less than a heartbeat. In a matter of seconds, Ephyon had frozen 302 ships in total, each one locked in a cold, unforgiving embrace. With a terrifying strength, he began to hurl the frozen ships at Alexandron at the speed of light, the massive blocks of ice streaking towards him like deadly missiles.
Overwhelmed by Ephyon's relentless onslaught, Alexandron felt frustration boil within him. He needed more power, more speed—he needed to change the tides of battle. With a growl of determination, Alexandron began to transform. His body shifted and morphed, each piece of armor and technology melding into something far more monstrous. In moments, Alexandron had become a towering technological titan, his form a nightmarish blend of metal and energy. His eyes burned a terrifying, glowing red, like twin stars of rage.
Now imbued with newfound strength and speed, Alexandron surged forward, moving at three times the speed of light. His movements were a blur, faster than the eye could see, and he quickly closed the distance between himself and Ephyon. With a roar, Alexandron unleashed a powerful cosmic punch, his fist glowing with a radiant energy as it slammed into Ephyon with the force of a collapsing star.
The impact sent Ephyon reeling, his body contorting with pain as he tumbled through space. Alexandron didn’t let up. Seizing the moment, he grabbed Ephyon and, channeling his super-advanced nuclear power, hurled him with all his might. Ephyon’s body rocketed through space, crashing into the massive Grandmaster ship of the Supreme Government. The colossal vessel, the largest of its kind, shuddered under the impact, its hull dented and warped from the force of Ephyon's collision.
Ephyon was heavily injured, his form battered and bruised from the successive blows. But even in his weakened state, he managed to raise his head and stare defiantly at Alexandron, who floated nearby with a look of grim determination. The Grandmaster ship, sensing the threat Alexandron posed, activated its defense systems. From its central cannon, a wide-spread lightning blast erupted, crackling with electric fury as it arced towards Alexandron.
The lightning struck Alexandron squarely in the chest, sending a surge of electricity coursing through his body. He cried out in pain as the force of the blast sent him spiraling downwards, plummeting towards a flat, deserted island on a nearby celestial body. He crashed into the surface with a thunderous impact, the ground shattering beneath him as dust and debris were thrown into the air.
Inside the Grandmaster ship, in the royal super grand room reserved for the highest echelons of the Supreme Government, a figure stood. One of the six golden-crowned Grandmasters, N.ton, observed the battle from his lofty perch. His expression was one of calm determination as he watched Alexandron’s descent. The room around him was lavishly decorated, a testament to the power and authority he wielded.
N.ton turned to his fellow Grandmasters, his voice cool and composed. "I will descend to the flat surface to eliminate Alexandron," he declared, his words filled with an icy resolve. Without waiting for a response, N.ton raised his hand and conjured a glowing circle of energy before him. The portal shimmered with a bright light, its surface rippling like water.
Stepping forward, N.ton disappeared through the portal, vanishing from sight. Moments later, he reappeared on the surface where Alexandron had crashed, the portal closing behind him with a faint hum. N.ton stood tall, his gaze fixed on Alexandron as he lay on the ground, struggling to rise. Alexandron’s eyes widened in shock and fear as he sensed N.ton’s presence, the aura of power radiating from the Grandmaster unmistakable.
Before Alexandron could react, a massive meteorite, glowing with an intense heat, plummeted from the sky. It struck the surface where Alexandron lay, the impact shaking the ground and sending up a cloud of dust and fire. Alexandron’s heart raced as he tried to scramble away, his body still weak from the earlier attack. He could feel the heat of the meteorite as it landed just feet from him, the ground beneath him cracking and splintering from the force.
As the dust began to settle, Alexandron looked up, his eyes meeting N.ton’s. The Grandmaster stood amidst the chaos, his expression unchanging, his gaze unwavering. Alexandron could see the challenge in N.ton’s eyes, the unspoken promise of a battle that was yet to come.
And for the first time in a long while, Alexandron felt a flicker of fear. He had faced many enemies in his time, but N.ton was different. There was a power in the Grandmaster that Alexandron could not fully comprehend, a strength that seemed to go beyond the limits of his understanding. As the two stood facing each other on the desolate island, Alexandron knew that the true battle was only just beginning.
The chapter ended with a tense silence, the promise of conflict hanging heavy in the air. The universe seemed to hold its breath, waiting to see who would emerge victorious in the battle between Alexandron and the enigmatic N.ton.
