[ Walhallas Castle - Jail ]

Alan sat in the dim, cold cell, surrounded by tight iron bars that mirrored the unforgiving structure of the castle itself.

The guards stood vigilant outside, their eyes never leaving the "criminal" within.

Hours ticked by, but Alan remained still, hunched in a corner, his disheveled hair hanging over his eyes.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he shuddered, a twisted giggle escaping his lips.

Alan: "Crimsons..."

[ 2 Hours Later ]

Greymor and Deer approached the jail to check on Alan.

As they entered, Greymor’s eyes immediately widened in shock.

Greymor: "He escaped."

The once-solid iron bars were now bent wide open.

The guards lay injured on the ground, groaning in pain but very much alive.

Deer, unfazed, casually bent down to check the breath of one of the guards.

He chuckled softly, standing back up with a smirk.

Deer: "Told you, it doesn’t matter."

"Leave him."

"That kid will now go to the real game."

Greymor, still processing the scene, looked at Deer with confusion.

Greymor: "What are you saying?"

Deer’s grin widened as he explained.

Deer: "After realizing we had no business with his clan members, he only injured our guards to escape."

"He didn’t kill a single one."

Greymor, shocked, felt a wave of relief wash over him.

Greymor: "WHAT?! HE DIDN’T KILL?"

Deer: "Yup."

Greymor exhaled deeply, his shoulders sagging as he muttered in gratitude.

Greymor: "Thank God."

[ Crimsons Castle - Hall ]

Inside the Crimsons Castle, a group gathered in the grand hall, their expressions smug and satisfied.

Kartik: "And boom,"

"told ya,"

"he killed the leader of Walhallas."

Moon's eyes widened in disbelief.

Moon: "What?!!!??"

Hakai, a cold smile on his face, nodded in agreement.

Hakai: "Damn, he gives me chills."

Flare crossed his arms, his voice laced with disdain.

Flare: "That guy surely is an evil."

Kartik, with a cynical laugh, corrected him.

Kartik: "Evil?"

"He’s a psychopath."

But as he spoke, Kartik’s heart suddenly pounded in his chest, an instinctual fear seizing him.

He shot up from his seat, his eyes darting around.

Flare, noticing the sudden tension, faltered.

Flare: "I—"

Moon looked around, her face mirroring Kartik’s unease.

Moon: "I have no idea…"

Kartik’s voice was sharp as he addressed the room.

Kartik: "Did you people feel it too?"

Hakai, usually composed, felt a strange thrill.

Hakai: "Ah... I felt like we were being watched by a demon."

In unison, they all turned to the entrance of the hall.

Kartik’s eyes widened.

Moon’s eyes widened.

Flare’s eyes widened.

Cattu’s eyes widened.

Hakai’s eyes glowed with excitement.

There, standing in the entrance, was Alan, an evil grin spreading across his face.

Chapter Ends.
