____________________________________The atmosphere hung heavy with tension as the group watched Alan and Muzan stand across from each other. The words exchanged had been few, but their impact echoed like thunder. Alan, the silent storm, had agreed to Muzan’s plan, much to the disbelief of his comrades.
Mike, Ace, and Yuki could feel the gravity of the moment. Mike's pulse quickened, his heart sinking into his stomach. The Alan they knew, who had fought beside them, who had faced countless enemies—this Alan was agreeing to Muzan’s twisted plan.
Mike stepped forward, his voice strained with disbelief.
Mike: "Alan... What are you doing?"
Alan’s cold eyes remained locked on Muzan.
Alan: "I’ll go along with it."
The words were simple, but they landed like a hammer. Mike’s face paled, his mind whirling in confusion and shock.
Mike (inwardly): "This... This can’t be happening."
Muzan, standing there with that same smug smirk, tilted his head, clearly enjoying the reactions around him.
Muzan: "Good. Then let’s move forward. Together, we’ll destroy the Heavenlys, and nothing will stand in our way."
But Alan’s voice, calm and sharp, interrupted Muzan’s gloating.
Alan: "There’s one condition."
Muzan’s eyebrow raised, curiosity flashing across his eyes.
Muzan: "Oh? And what’s that?"
Without hesitation, Alan’s voice was like ice.
Alan: "When I’m done destroying the Heavenlys, you let me kill you."
The words hung in the air like a death sentence. Muzan’s smirk faltered for just a moment, but then he laughed—a low, guttural laugh that seemed to vibrate through the ground.
Muzan: "Is that all? Fine. If that's what you want, Alan. After the Heavenlys are gone, you can have your shot at me."
Mike, who had been frozen in place, snapped out of his trance. His voice cracked as he spoke, desperate to reach Alan.
Mike: "Alan, no! This isn’t you. You’re not like him!"
Alan didn’t even turn to look at him.
Alan: "This has nothing to do with being like him, Mike. This is about finishing what should have been done a long time ago."
Ace’s fists clenched tightly as he tried to make sense of the situation. Ace: "You can’t seriously be thinking of trusting Muzan. After everything he’s done—after everything he’s caused?"
Alan’s response was calm, emotionless.
Alan: "I’m not trusting him. I’m using him."
The coldness of Alan’s reply sent a shiver down Mike’s spine.
Mike (inwardly): "This isn’t the Alan I know... What happened to you?"
Muzan, sensing the rising tension, couldn’t resist rubbing salt in the wound.
Muzan: "You see? Your friend understands what needs to be done. The Heavenlys will fall, and soon enough, you’ll all realize that there’s no point in resisting."
Mike’s hands were shaking with rage now, his mind battling against the truth that was unfolding before him.
Mike: "Alan... Please, don’t go down this path."
