Notes:

About chapter 3: Dahlia used to be a literature student obsessed with Harry Potter, she'll let the story go pretty much the same way because she knows that certain things have to happen, to get to a happy ending, Harry's life just got better because the fact that SHE was born a witch, Dahlia, on the other hand, tried to bring the story closer to the original by being strict with him if it had been left to Petunia and Harry and Dudley would have been much more pampered, I will explain more once those things that Dahlia changes happen.

-1 August 1991-

Harry and I get out of the car, at the same time as great-aunt Jasmine in front of the Leaky Cauldron where Hagrid is waiting for us outside. Before we go too far, I turn to the driver's door and thank my father for bringing us. Jasmine and Harry have already started planning what we need and where we will go. We went inside and everyone was looking at us, it was to be expected. I grab Harry by the elbow and with my head raised I walk forward, almost dragging Harry with me. I bet that in everyone's eyes, we look like a Show, I mean Harry looks exactly like James and I could pass as my aunt's daughter any day of the week. Even though we have great-aunt Jasmine, today is the first day we step, into the wizarding world, so I ensured we looked flawless. I am dressed in a white shirt over which I have a black jumpsuit-type dress with white collars, I wear long white socks and well-polished black shoes. I put the front part of my hair back. I braided it, and the rest I left loose in curls up to the middle of the back, and as accessories I only have a white bow that holds my hair, a bow tie made of black ribbon with a white outline and a brooch made of platinum that I received as a gift on the day I was born from the Potter family, in the centre of which is a sizeable round sapphire. I also chose Harry's clothes so we match, he wears black pants with white checks, a white shirt and fine black leather shoes, but because I know he doesn't like accessories, I left him alone, well at least I convinced him that for the last pair of glasses, get them with gold frames, they are still perfectly round and break immediately but, at least great-aunt Jasmine will fix them if necessary.

After taking the back exit, we come face to face with a wall and a trash can. Wonderful! Hagrid presses his pink umbrella on one of the bricks which instantly falls on the other side of the wall as it starts to disappear. Once we enter Diagon Alley, everything is much more alive, even more than in the movies. We start to move forward and It seems that the first stop is going to, be at Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The building is much bigger and more spectacular than the one shown in the movies being built entirely of snow-white marble. We climb the entrance stairs and the gigantic bronze doors are guarded by a goblin in a scarlet and gold uniform. The giant doors open into a small hall where we see another set of doors this time silver but these are also guarded by goblins, once we passed them we finally entered the main hall long tables are on both sides of the hall. This is where we break up into pairs, Hagrid will take Harry to the Potter family vault while great-aunt Jasmine and I will check me in. But before he leaves, I hold Harry for, a second and whisper to him. "If I finish first, I'll wait for you, but you'll also wait for me, okay?" "You don't even have to ask." He answers me immediately.
Once the boys are led through one of the doors Great Aunt Jasmine takes out one of her rings and places it on the table in front of a goblin who looks at the ring then at Jasmine then at the ring then wide then back at me. "I wish to register my great-niece, here present, as a beneficiary and contributor to the Iris vault." She says firmly. "Please follow me into the office." The goblin tells us jumping off his chair and rushing to a door. Jasmine puts her ring back on, then takes my hand and leads me to the door. Once we entered the new room I noticed a goblin sitting on a chair behind a mahogany desk, the goblin that Jasmine talked to earlier stayed by the door and once we entered he quickly left the room and closed the door behind him.
"So this is the dahlia flower, if you ask me I would say that of the flowers you resemble the rose the most." Said the goblin sitting with his elbows on the desk and his fingers tied together as he let his chin rest on them. "Hello to you too Ricbert, may I remind you that no woman in our family prefers the term flower." Great Aunt Jasmine said, sitting down, in one of the chairs in front of the desk. "Hello, my name is Dahlia Aster Dursley, but I think you already know that." I say with a smile so sweet it's more than likely obnoxious as I follow Great Aunt Jasmine's lead sitting in the chair but I sit cross-legged placing my palms on the top knee.
"You've got Rose's attitude, too, ha." He tells me with a dry laugh at the end. "Let's stop wasting time and get started. The process of registering as a contributor is very simple, at the moment I don't even know if we should pass you as a contributor considering that you have no income." Ricbert says to me, but before he can continue I cut him off. "My parents are doing pretty well financially in the muggle world, and my Great Aunt Jasmine has already informed them of the expected expenses for my education and pocket money. So at least once a year, I'll have to come and exchange muggle money for wizarding currency." I announce raising an eyebrow. Ricbert looks at me and then starts laughing.
"I like this, little one. Okay, we'll also make the contributor contract, but first, let's start with the beneficiary contract. Completing a beneficiary contract takes a while, especially for the Iris vault. To begin with, we need a Proof of Inheritance, it is usually done on a genealogical basis, but the access rules of this vault require a magical one." He begins to explain, placing on the table a scroll, a vial, a kind of silver stick with a very sharp tip and a potion. "To be able to make a proof of inheritance based on magic we first need a magical signature. Each being's magic is different from one to another, but the magical signature is tangible and can resemble that of the predecessors. Now I need about half an inch of blood in this vial." He says pushing the stick and vial towards me then pulls one of the longest pipettes I've ever seen out of a drawer. I frown at the instruments, then I start reaching into my pockets for a handkerchief. "Do you need help, honey?" Jasmine tries but I just find the handkerchief so I answer her with a curt no as I place my handkerchief on the table. I put my left hand on the handkerchief and poked my ring finger pretty hard with the splinter. When the blood comes, I put down the splinter and take the ampoule, pouring it drop by drop until Ricbert tells me that it's enough, he takes the ampoule from my hand.
