Trigger warning
Jennie G!p
Is it possible to fall in love with a woman after they had just murdered People?
For Jennie Kim, the answer is yes.
Months ago during the beginning of the semester, Jennie wasn't always great at making friends. Even though this was university, it felt like high school again, where She remained an outcast and was reluctant to be involved with the student body, college clubs, or majority of big events like those sorority Parties .
She was academically focused; the typical nerdy student majoring in law. Always studying by self in the library and sometimes tutoring other students so She could earn some money on the side. Back then She realized that having friends or even being in a relationship was the least of her priorities.
But it wasn't until She first laid her eyes on Lalisa.
Lalisa was beautiful. Also an inquisitive, scholarly student with good grades, staying on top of her classes, and involved with many extra curriculars. As badly as Jennie wanted to talk to her, She viewed Lalisa as way out of her league. But She's Always keeping in touch with Lalisa's friend groups on campus and focusing on the clubs and committees Lalisa joined. There was never a chance for Jennie to even be with her. So to avoid rejection and humiliation, She'd rather keep her crush a little secret, admiring and fantasizing about her from afar.
When October came around and a big Halloween party was taking place, Jennie was invited by one of the students She was tutoring. Jennie wasn't the best at social gatherings and has never been to college parties, but the only reason She came was because Lalisa was attending as well.
That night, however, Lalisa was busy with a man. A man that Jennie has never seen before. Spending a lot of time together, dancing, drinking, and always leaving the vicinity together... As much as Jennie wanted to admit that She was jealous deep down, She forced herself to move on. she'd always believed that there was no way in Hell that She was going to have a chance with Lalisa that time.
"...Hey, has anybody seen Lalisa?"
A few hours later into the party the question started floating in the air, suddenly capturing Jennie's attention. The thought of Lalisa had completely slipped her mind as She started drinking more throughout the night until Lalisa was back to being her main focus. Recalling the last time She's seen her was with that man Jennie assumed doesn't attend the university. As She lingered in her thoughts, her skin started crawl.
Suspicion. Piercing curiosity. An urge to look for Lalisa and make sure she's safe.
A handful of Lalisa's friends were looking everywhere in the house for her as Jennie decided to investigate outside. Even though She was outside of campus and wasn't that familiar with the outskirts, She didn't stop searching until She could find her that night.
Jennie searched until the path at her feet faded and lead into the dark woods, the verdant greens diminishing to sullen brown, as if She was entering forbidden territory. But it wasn't until he noticed red.
A blood trail.
That mystifying Halloween night, right in the heart of the forest where danger and terror lurks, is the first time Jennie saw a dead man's body and his guts hideously torn apart, messy spikes of fresh blood splattered everywhere. The whole scene looked impossible for a rabid animal to even do that. But it wasn't until She found Lalisa, on her knees and sitting on her ankles beside the corpse, blood draped all over her face, chin, and then her naked body.
And when Lalisa's gaze flickered onto Her, in her eyes Jennie can sense longing, pining, regret, terror... a tumultuous storm surging in Lalisa's mind, piercing right through.
