Perrito was always the optimist, seeing the good in everything. His cheerful spirit made him the perfect companion for typically anyone. Despite the exciting adventures him and his two feline friends shared, a small part of Perrito always wondered about his past. Where did he come from? Did he have a family out there, just like Puss and Kitty?

One sunny afternoon, Perrito decided to go to the marketplace by himself for once, as he wandered through a bustling people, something unusual caught Perrito's attention. Among the sounds of merchants haggling and children laughing, Perrito heard a faint whimper. His ears perked up, and his nose twitched as he followed the sound. He squeezed between people's legs, dodged a few stray cats, and finally found himself in a small alleyway behind a fruit stall.

In the shadows, Perrito saw a small dog, trembling and curled up. This dog looked surprisingly familiar, but he had black fur with white on his stomach. He also had the same big, hopeful eyes that perrito did, but they were green. Perrito's heart skipped a beat. This dog really looked familiar.

"Hey...Who are you?" Perrito said softly as the city noise blurred around them. "Are you okay? Do you need help?"

The small dog looked up, eyes barley open because of tiredness, but then something softened in his expression. He slowly approached Perrito, sniffing him cautiously.

"Who are you?" the dog asked, his voice hoarse but curious.

"I'm Perrito!" he said, wagging his tail.  "What's your name?"

The small dog hesitated, then replied, "I'm Olive. I... I don't usually talk to strangers, but... you seem different."

Perrito's tail wagged even faster. "Different? I like being different! Are you hungry, Olive? I know a great spot with the best leftovers! Follow me!"

Olive seemed unsure, but something about Perrito's enthusiasm was contagious. He cautiously followed Perrito back to the marketplace. As they scavenged for food together, Olive opened up a bit more.

"I... I've been on my own for a long time," Olive confessed. "I don't remember much about my family. I just remember that I used to have brothers and sisters. We were taken away from each other when we were really young."

Perrito's ears perked up again. "Brothers and sisters? Really? Me too! I don't remember much about them, but sometimes, I feel like I'm missing something. Or someone."

Olive sighed as they continued their walk. "I wonder if we are related." He said considering the possibilities. "Yeah! That would be crazy! And awesome." Perrito smiled. 

Before Olive could finish his sentence, a soft bark interrupted them. Another dog, also about Perrito's age with similar fur like Perrito, and bright blue eyes, came bounding over. "Olive! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!"

The new dog stopped in her tracks when he saw Perrito. Her jaw dropped and she scooted next to Olive and whispered. "Olive, who's this? He... he looks just like me!"

Perrito's heart pounded with excitement. "I'm Perrito! And you must be...?"

The new dog's eyes were wide with disbelief. "I'm Fern. Are you a long lost brother?"

Olive, Fern, and Perrito stood there, staring at each other in a mix of shock and joy. Could it be true? Were they really siblings, reunited by fate?

Perrito's eyes sparkled with wonder. "I hope so! But maybe we should make sure before we jump to conclusions" he said softly.

Fern nodded, her tail wagging gently. "We've been searching for so long, I really hope you are on of us." Fern said with a yearn in her voice

Olive looked at Perrito and Fern, feeling a warmth he hadn't felt in a long time. "Maybe... maybe we can find out together, lets find a safe place away from the crowd and talk about what we remember!" Olive said motioning to a hill with a single tree hovering over it.

"Good idea." Fern said as the trio trotted up the hill. Boy, if these new dogs were his family, he couldn't wait to tell Camilita.

Even of these dogs weren't his family, at least he had made new friends.

Okay! Part two is coming soon! Btw, after the wedding, a couple oneshots later, I'm gonna have Team Friendship, along with Sherman, Simon, Sebastian, Camilita, AND more all come together and build one big fort in a hidden camp where they all live together like family! Sry for the spoiler XD
