"Is this where you were supposed to take us?" Rose asked as the pair stared at the suspiciously perfect houses.

"Ehhh... generally speaking... no." He admitted earning a laugh from his companion.

He hadn't meant to land here, he'd intended on surprising Rose for her first journey with his new face but clearly the Tardis had other plans. So here they found themselves; a 1950s American suburb with seemingly nothing else for miles. At least the third time they had walked around the block proved as such.

He stared off into the wasteland in confusion, so deep in thought that he didn't hear the small clicking a a pair of heels approached him.

"You okay strangers?" A voice called out causing the pair to turned towards it.

In front of them was a stereotypical light blonde 1950s suburban housewife, wearing a pretty light blue and dotted dress topped with a frilly work apron and gloves. She was seemingly in the middle of tidying her front garden, still holding the trimmers which she used for the rose bushes.

"Sorry, just a little lost," The Doctor began, "Where are we, exactly?'

"Well, let me be the first to welcome such a lovely couple to our neighbourhood of Serenity Hills." The woman smiled brightly

"Um we not a couple." Rose interrupted from next to the doctor, who nodded in agreement to his companion.

"Oh," she paused for a moment before continuing, "Well either way it's lovely to meet you, I'm Mrs Juliet Hammond."

"I'm Rose," She spoke as the leaned forward with her hand out, which Juliet shook in greeting, "Rose Tyler."

"And I'm the Doctor."

"Doctor Who?"

"Just the Doctor."

"Well 'Just the Doctor' and Rose, my husband should be home soon, if you'd like you can both come inside for some lemonade while we wait."

The pair turned to the other in thought before shrugging and following the welcoming woman inside. Compared to the Powell Estate this house was perfectly clean, to the degree that it looked like nobody lived there. It made Rose feel uncomfortable for a reason she'd hadn't yet realised.

"Please take your shoes off before you come," Juliet began and she took of her shoes and walked towards the kitchen, "I've just finished vacuuming, but take a seat when you're done and I'll bring the cups."

And so fifteen minutes later, The Doctor and Rose squished next to each other on a small green loveseat as Juliet poured each of them a cold glass of lemonade.

"Hope you like it, I made it myself." She'd spoke as she finished pouring and placed the jug back on the coffee table.

Rose took a sip before replying truthfully, "Oh my god this is the best!"

"Well thank you.' Juliet expressed gratitude before continuing, "So how did you guys find your way here?"

They pair hesitated before looking at each other, it was silently decided the Doctor would take charge of explanations, "Well you see we seems to have took a wrong turn on our travels and my erm vehicle won't start to take us away from here."

Juliet perked up as he spoke, "Oh then you must meet my husband if your'e having car troubles, I'm sure he can help."

"I'm not sure a mechanic could really help." Rose joked, causing him to elbow her in side.

"Well he's not a mechanic but he is a man so he'd be far more capable than me." The air was suddenly thick with tension as she spoke, the pair on the couch narrowed their eyes in unison at the words just spoken.
