After Nia ran out the door, she got into her car and drove to the police station. She knew Asher would be there.

"Are you here to finally see that we're meant to be together?" Asher said.

"Yeah, I'm here for that. I'm not dating you."

"Didn't you hear what I said, you either break up with Lemon Boy and date me, or face the consequences!" exclaimed Asher.

"No! You didn't notice but I recorded our whole conversation. So everything that you just said got recorded on my phone. It's over!" Nia said.

"Oh baby, you don't know who you're messing with. My father is Commissioner Frank Antonio, he can fire you in the snap of a finger!"

"So where do we go from here?" Nia asked.

"You tried to take me down and for that, you will break up with Chris now."

"You can't do this!"

"I can do anything I want, and always I get what I want."

Asher took one step closer to Nia and she pulled out her gun.

"If you take another step, I will shoot!"

Soon Chris and Carrie came.

"Nia! What are you doing!" exclaimed Chris.

"For god sakes, Nia! Put the gun down!" Exclaimed Carrie.

"He's nothing but trouble! Why can't you see that?!"

"Nia, just put the gun down!" Chris said.

"I can't."

"Why not?" Carrie asked.

"Because if I do, he will get away with this crap."

"Detective Lee! What on earth are you doing?!" Captain King said.

"Asher is bad news, he's blackmailing me. He said I need to break up with Chris and date him or he will do something."

"I don't know what she's talking about." Asher said.

"Oh really, then how do you explain this?" Nia said.

Nia pulled out her phone and played the recording. Everyone that was there heard the recording.

"Still want to say you don't know what you're talking about?" Chris said.

"Antonio, in my office!" exclaimed Captain King.

Asher followed him into his office.

"Nia, I'm so sorry I didn't believe you."

"It's okay. Carrie."

"Why didn't you tell me about this Nia?" Chris asked.

"I thought I could handle this on my own...but I couldn't. I almost shot him."

"You tried to do something on your own, and that's what I love about you." Chris said.

Chris looked at Nia then gave her a small kiss.

"Maybe we should go on a little break or a vacation." Carrie said.

"What do you say, Nia?" Chris asked.

"Sure."

After they left the station, Asher was behind them watching them leave.

"This isn't over Nia, I will get my revenge and you will be mine. Mark my words."
