Jay gets hired as the manager of the bakery Jungwon works at. The problem? It was supposed to be Jungwon's spot. Also, there's the fact that Jungwon really fucking despises him.
It's going to be a long couple of months.~

The universe hates Jungwon. It's confirmed. Wait, actually, scratch that—Jungwon has decided to blame all of his problems on Jay instead. It’s somehow his fault that when he walks into the kitchens for the first time on his first day on the job, shadowing the current manager, Jungwon squirts cupcake frosting all over his face.
Jungwon is usually a meticulous baker, careful to check all the boxes and dot all his i’s, but these new piping bags have been throwing him off and he still forgets to secure the top properly sometimes, which tends to result in a face full of buttercream once he starts piping.
He only notices Jay’s presence after it happens, when he whips around and sees him standing near the door, arms crossed and a brow raised.
His manager, showing Jay around, levels him with an unimpressed look. “This is Jungwon,” she tells Jay. “Although I’ve heard you already know each other. He’s not usually...” she trails off, gesturing vaguely at his current condition.
Jay laughs. He’s wearing a black t-shirt that shows his annoyingly muscular biceps as he raises a hand to run through his hair. (No, Jungwon is not staring, thank you very much.) “We’re acquainted,” he tells the manager. And then to Jungwon, with a slight smirk, “I look forward to working with you, Jungwonie.”
Jay looks at Jungwon like he’s expecting to get a rise out of him after the nickname. And, oh, a rise he’s gonna get: Jungwon’s revving himself up to say something absolutely scathing back, probably about how stupid Jay looks with that smirk on his face, like a roblox character, but then he remembers the presence of his manager and wisely shuts his mouth. He gives Jay a strained smile and turns around to wipe his face. He can feel buttercream up his nose.
