Self-Assessment Activity
Hindi ako nakatulog ng maayos kagabi kakaisip ng activity na gagawin namin mamaya. Can she really dig up my inner darkest secret? Is she really that good, like Sir Rich Mond says? Normally, I don't give a damn about others, but I can't help feeling a little uneasy. She can't be, right? I asked myself.
"Dude, mukha kang zombie. Nakatulog ka ba kagabi?" Aiahn laughed as he tapped my back.
I applied the final touch of lip balm, turned to him, and looked at him with a blank expression. "It's none of your concern." I deadpanned, making his smile fade.
"Okay," he replied, turning away to put on his RLE uniform.
Ignoring him, I stood up to grab my clothes hanging on the rack when the door suddenly opened, revealing Anthony.
He looked shocked, covering his mouth as his eyes scanned my bare body. I just recently realized that Anthony might be into me, but I didn't care.
Suddenly, he started walking toward me, seductively touching my shoulder and tracing down my arms with his fingers. "Tamang tama sa umaga, pandesal," I was taken aback when he touched my abs, tracing them too. "...at kape," he whispered in my ear, and I could smell his caffeinated breath.
"Hoy, Anthony, layuan mo nga 'yan si Lemuel! Kaumaumaga, in-heat ka," Aiahn suddenly intervened, making Anthony roll his eyes in annoyance.
"Ano ba 'yan, lagi ka nalang panira ng moment," Anthony snapped, while Aiahn just smirked.
Napabuntong hininga nalang ako at hindi na pinansin pa ang dalawa. Nasanay nalang rin ako sa laging pagsulpot-sulpot ni Aiahn tuwing...I stopped when suddenly, I remembered something. There's something he's not telling me. But I needed to prove it first before jumping to any conclusion.
Anthony left the room after grabbing what he needed, and as always, Aiahn waited for me before heading downstairs where everyone else was.
Everyone was already in their RLE uniforms, the two girls with their aprons and nurses' caps, and Sir Art in his scrub suit and Crocs. They were all minding their own business while having breakfast until Sir Art noticed us. He smiled and gestured for us to come over. Aiahn and I politely followed him to the kitchen in between the dorms.
"Mr. Santos and Mr. Labrador, kumain na kayo dahil sabi ni Nurse Rara ay 10:30 masisimula na ang self-assessment ninyo," he informed us, handing us coffee.
I checked my watch-10 a.m. We only had 30 minutes before the activity started. And then, I looked at the coffee he offered me but didn't take it, which seemed to puzzle him.
"You don't drink coffee?" he asked curiously, pulling the cup back.
"Sorry, but I prefer my coffee cold, sir, not hot, and most importantly, not like that," I said bluntly, unbothered by my tone. They should've asked me. It's not even coffee-it's milk.
