Histrionic Personality Disorder
"Kumpleto na ba ang lahat?" Dra. Lucy asked, glancing at each of us one by one.
After our conversation earlier, she made me promise that no one in my group should know that Lilith is her daughter. I wanted to ask why, but my mouth stayed shut—too many questions were already swirling in my mind. Do her nurses know?
I glanced back at Dra. Lucy, and our eyes met. She gave me a reassuring smile, as if silently telling me she trusted me with this secret.
"Dude, excited na akong kausapin si Lilith," Aiahn said beside me, clearly restless with anticipation.
I turned to him, forcing a genuine smile despite the unease building inside me.
"Huwag mo'ng kalimutan 'yung bilin sa'yo ni Nurse Rara," he added, trying to reassure me. "Alam ko namang mahahandle mo ng maayos si Archer."
I nodded, though his concern felt almost unnecessary. It’s not Archer I’m worried about---but Lilith.
"Yeah, salamat," I said warmly, then turned my attention back to Dra. Lucy. Aiahn didn’t bother me again since he was busy reviewing what he’d say to his patient.
I sighed inwardly from exhaustion. After today, I really need to catch up on sleep. I hadn’t slept much earlier because of everything running through my mind.
"I guess kumpleto na tayo," Dra. Lucy announced, standing up and checking our attendance. "Let's go to the facility. Our patients are all waiting for us," she added, flashing us a bright smile before leading the way to the Psychiatric facility.
As I watched Dra. Lucy walking ahead of us, I couldn’t help but think we have a lot in common. Earlier this morning, she looked terrible, almost as if she wasn’t a professional doctor. But now, she's back to her usual bright and calming aura. She’s like a chameleon, shifting her appearance depending on the situation. Ano pa kaya ang tinatago niya sa amin? I smirked at the thought. Whatever it is, I'll figure it out.
Nang makarating kami sa loob ng ward, we were greeted by the nurses—Nurse Rara, Nurse Marj, Nurse Mond, and the other two nurses on duty, Nurse Shantal and Nurse Isabelle.
"Good morning, doctora," they all greeted cheerfully, and Dra. Lucy responded with a nod.
"Kamusta ang mga pasyente natin, gising na ba silang lahat?" Dra. Lucy asked, her expression serious as she looked at Nurse Marj.
Nurse Marj stepped forward and respectfully answered, "Gising na silang lahat, Dra. Lucy. Naghihintay na nga po sila sa ating mga nurse trainees," she said warmly, gesturing towards us.
"Kung gano'n, simulan na natin ang araw," Dra. Lucy said joyfully, signaling us to begin the day's schedule.
Nurse Marj called the four nurses from the station, and they immediately approached us. Meanwhile, Dra. Lucy headed to her office to review the patients’ charts and check on their statuses.
