*Narration*

“You know Mrs. Walker, she went to see him the day before. I came to know about his marriage proposal.” Kayleigh said as they both sat in the living area of their house. And Emma just stared at him.

“She told me to leave it bubu, it's better this way if anything bad happens in future we can blame our parents.” He said, imitating her tone. "But she hasn't said a single word to you or about you, husband,"

“She's just mad at that MF. She didn't blame you, even when she had every right to blame you. This shows how much the girl loves you and has always loved you. You remember the next day you were angry at me. Saying that you will do everything in your power to marry her off with him?" He mentioned the day she yelled at him.

“That I'm not the only one who cares about her and you also do? Empty words, Mrs. Walker." he stood up, taking a deep breath, "If you ever cared about your so-called best friend, you should have stood up to her." And with that he walked out of the house.

While Emma just sighed. Knowing what her son didn't know was that she and Kayden had already encountered their best friend, aka Emma Hemsworth.

*Earlier that day*

Ella looked up from her sketchbook as her best friends walked towards her. Emma and Kayden.

She closed her eyes with a sigh. She expected them to come to her but not this soon. She had a lot of things to handle and she couldn't cope with them. She was not ready.

Their facial expressions revealed thier mood. And damn they were angry.

“You guys don’t start now.” She leaned back in her chair and the couple looked at her, disbelief clear on their faces.

"After ruining my daughter's entire life, her peace of mind and her innocence, that's all you have to say to Ella." Kayden asked, angry at her behavior. She was so calm as if she had not fooled everyone.

Like she didn't lie to them about Arif's past.

“At least you have to understand me, Kayden. The girl Arif claimed to love was nothing but nonsense. That girl was a stripper, for God's sake. How can you expect me to accept her as my daughter-in-law?”

“That was your problem, you shouldn't have dragged my daughter into this mess. You knew about him, right? Regarding her past trauma, yet you did such a terrible thing as tricking her into signing a marriage contract?" Emma said, "You should be ashamed, Ella."

"Emma I know-'' Ema cut her words.

“You  know nothing, you don't know how I feel every time I see that sad smile on her face, that disappointed look on Kayle's face. She had suffered a lot in her childhood. I can't see her going through the same pain and depression again. You did what was best for your son but believe me Ella, it really wasn't a very good choice. You unknowingly ruined three lives." She completed it.

“Three? That Snow Waters? Did she even have her own life to ruin it in the first place? That girl was nothing.” Ella defended.

“She was your son's first love, Ella. She must be something,” Kayden said.

"Attraction. It was just an attraction. He was just attracted to her. He doesn't know it himself but I know. It definitely wasn't love."

"Ella we don't care-" Emma tried. But this time Ella cut Emma off
