CHAPTER 5: The end of love?
After Snivy's mother saw her daughter kiss her Pal Oshawott, everything fell apart. Both were forced to break abruptly away. Serperior carried her daughter tied with her vines and Oshawott was kicked out from the Arbor Area by the commander Bisharp and his Pawniard.
After reach the intersection of the areas in Cove Town, the guards threw the otter away to a certain distance, this meant that they didn't want to see him in the Arbor Area anymore. He fell face down in the concrete that hurt him a little. Afterwards, the commander of the patrol said to Krookodile, gatekeeper of the intersection:
"Krookodile, don't let this Oshawott enter to the Arbor Area again. Those are Queen Serperior's orders."
The Intimidation Pokémon startled a bit by the royal guard's orders. He tried to say something, but he was interrupted by Bisharp, who said in a straight and harsh way:
"Did you understand?!"
That made him the crocodile Pokémon nervous, but he had to follow his orders and the queen's ones.
"Yes, sir..." he said complicated.
Later, Bisharp and the Pawniard reenter to the Arbor Area and Krookodile closed the path. Oshawott got up sore and talked to the ground-dark type Pokémon.
"Krookodile, open the gate! Let me enter!"
"I can't, Oshawott, those are the queen's orders, and you must not break them. I'm really sorry."
The otter gave a loud sigh.
"What happened inside?" Krookodile asked.
"I... this... I kissed Snivy and her mother saw us and separated us."
"Did you kiss princess Snivy?!"
"Yeah, I don't know why we were forced to separate and they kicked me out of the Arbor Area."
"I don't know either."
"It happened so fast. But it's was a little kiss, nothing out of this world."
"So it was true."
"About what?"
"About that you had a romance with princess Snivy, so that's why you asked me that let you enter as you brought a flower every day. Now I can confirm it."
"But what's wrong to have a romance with princess Snivy? I don't understand."
"Me neither. Although you beg, I afraid that I won't let you open the gate to the Arbor Area because of Queen Serperior's orders. I'm really sorry."
Oshawott was very sad, was it true that him and his girlfriend couldn't see each other again anymore? He was still confused. What could he do now that he wasn't allowed to enter the Arbor Area? There's nothing more to do now. He, depressed, returned to the lighthouse.
Meanwhile, in the Arbor Area, princess Snivy struggled to be released from the vines of the queen.
"Mom, what are you doing?! Lemme go!"
When they were in the area where their houses were located. Serperior released Snivy violently, and she gave her a hard slap in the face with a vine. It hurt a lot to her daughter and she asked angry:
"Why did you do that?!"
The mother said straight to her daughter:
"Snivy, I forbid you approach Oshawott again! From now on you will be grounded for a whole month, without being able to play."
"But, why?!"
"Don't talk to me anymore, go to your room!"
"But..."
"I said go to your room! Did you hear me?!"
Snivy was very angry with her mother, she wanted to say the opposite, but she thought that the situation could get even more violent, so she had no other option to settle with that.
"Yes, mom," she said beaten and disappointed.
She later, angry, entered to her house and closed violently the door. She went to her bed and sat down to think. Her mother believed that doing that was going to correct her for good. She returned to her job in her chamber.
At Seasong Beach, Oshawott came back in a very bad way to his house. Samurott was eating berries when he saw his pupil enter. He was surprised because the otter entered without warning his arrival.
"Hello, Oshawott. How did you go?"
The little water type Pokémon didn't answer. His tutor noticed that something was wrong with him.
"Did something bad happen?" Samurott asked.
After he gave a loud sigh, Oshawott answered discouraged.:
"Yeah, something bad happened."
"What happened? Why are you so sad?"
"Well... there was an incident that... now they don't allow me to enter the Arbor Area in a few words."
"Seriously? Why?"
"Because I kissed Snivy and her mother noticed it."
The Formidable Pokémon chocked with the food for what he heard. He asked surprised:
"Are you talking seriously?!"
"Yeah. And afterwards the Bisharp patrol took me out from there, and they said that I can't go back to the Arbor Area."
Samurott was very thoughtful. He thought that it was the right moment to talk about that issue.
"Oshawott, sit down and listen."
"Okay..." he said very doubtful.
After sitting down, he asked:
"What do you want to tell me this time?"
"Oshawott, uh... I'm sorry for not having realized before, and for not be able to tell you as soon as possible, but... Queen Serperior don't want that you are next to her daughter."
"But why?"
"As far as I know it's a subject of royalty, I can't tell you more details because I don't know the rest. It also may be the queen's taste. I think she doesn't like that you are in love with Snivy."
"But what did I do to not let me be with Snivy? The two of us are deeply in love each other. She can't do that."
"Yes, I know, but I feel that there's something more behind this. I'm really sorry for not tell you before, I didn't realize about what could happen later."
Oshawott was very sad. Was maybe the end of his relationship with her beloved Snivy? He couldn't believe it, what could he do if he can't longer enter in the Arbor Area? He gave another loud sigh.
"Oshawott, don't feel bad. Sometimes that happens in love. The typical thing that can happen is that the parents of the girlfriend don't accept the boyfriend for different reasons. Cheer up. We have a long day of work."
The otter said very discouraged.
"Okay, sir. I'm going to patrol the area."
And the two exited the lighthouse to go to work.
