CHAPTER 13: Interrogatory
When the boys were in Windmill Way, they talked to each other:
"Alright, Oshawott, which one of them should we look for first?" Timburr asked.
"The first one that we come across, Timburr. We know Snivy's house there was water, snow, some darts and a berry. The water could come from Lombre; the snow, from Snover; the darts, from Dartrix; and the berry, from Pumpkaboo."
"Which one do we choose first?" Piplup asked.
"Let's see if we find prince Lombre in the Cove Area."
"So let's go there!" Tepig exclaimed.
And the four went to the Cove Area. After arriving Seasong Beach, they separated and searched for any clue of where the Jolly Pokémon could be. They went around all the beach looking for that Pokémon. Oshawott observed his surrounding, paying attention everywhere to find him. He could be anywhere, even hiding, so it was important to be alert on any suspicious move. Suddenly, he saw someone near the dock. It was about Ludicolo, king of the Wetland Area. The otter could identify him easily and went towards him to ask him a question. Oshawott had talked to him and he gave the news about Snivy was missing. He was possibly going to recognize the Sea Otter Pokémon. He came closer to him and greeted him:
"Hello, very good morning."
"Oh! You're the otter Pokémon that talked hours ago. Wacka wacka," he said as he danced.
"Yeah, I came to talk with you because I'm investigating the disappearance of princess Snivy and I need information about it."
"Oh, right! Wacka wacka! Her disappearance. How sad, how sad! I'm really worried about her! If you need help, I'll give you. Well, what can I help you, young Oshawott?"
"I need to find your son, prince Lombre, to know where he is."
"And why do you want to see my son?"
"He's a possible suspect, it was possibly him who kidnapped her."
"WHAT?! How could you think that about my cute little son, wacka wacka?!"
"In Snivy's house it was found water on the wall."
"Okay... but any water-type Pokémon could've done that."
"We suspect that was Lombre, because the most probably thing is he felt resentment after the meeting with the queen and the princess of the Arbor Area."
"Resentment? Well, it could be."
"What do you mean with that?"
"Y'see, I didn't like the attitude of that little princess at all. Is she so rude with everyone? I can't believe it! In a dark thought that I had, I wanted that something bad happened to her so she learned a lesson, but I never imagined that she was going to disappear so suddenly. I felt guilty. It was all my fault, wacka wacka!"
"We're just looking for you son if he has some information of where the princess of the Arbor Area is. Can you tell me where is he?"
"I tell you something, little Oshawott. My son hasn't done anything wrong so you accuse him of kidnapper. Go ask himself, he's swimming in the water. You're going to see afterwards that he's completely not guilty. Wacka wacka."
"Okay, thanks, King Ludicolo."
And Oshawott went into the water to find the king of the Wetland Area's son. He swam through all the place looking for Lombre. He tried to be as cautious as possible. When the otter was near the dork, he saw something green floating on the water, it was like a medium size lily pad. Oshawott guessed that Pokémon was the suspect he was looking for. The Sea Otter Pokémon swam towards him as quickly as possible. Lombre, after noticing that someone was coming, decided to swim away quickly from there. Oshawott started to pursue him on the water. Since he made training with Blitzle a long time ago, he could move faster than in the beginning. He saw Lombre go out from the water and ran through the sand. Before escaping, Oshawott partners had him surrounded.
