- When we are little and we are asked to do a project about how we want our life to be at 13, no one thinks that all of that can be affected by what others choose for your life. When I was told that I was a special person and that soon I would leave that torturous orphanage, I didn't think it would be with the man they had chosen for me. I thought I would be allowed to choose the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. But here I am, dressed in white and with tears in my eyes, but not of happiness, rather of sadness.

- "Did you get married?" Euphemia asks while looking at her granddaughter.

- "Yes. For the orphanage, it was an offense to have the girls from the wife program without husbands, so here I am in white at 15," Violet says with a sigh.

- "Is he a good husband?" Fleamont asks.

- "He was in a way. Until something happened and he stopped being one," her granddaughter replies.

- "But you still love him," James asks.

- "No," she says seriously. "But he gave me two little angels," she says, looking at Neil and Diana.

- "What your father and grandfather want to know is if any of the men present here is your husband," Lily says.

- "No," she says, shaking her head. "He's dead; it shouldn't concern us."

- "Well, let's keep watching. Let's see if someone decides to say something to prevent that marriage," Tonks says.

- "Spoiler: the wedding does happen," Neil and Diana shout simultaneously.

- "Why are you doing this to me?!" Violet screams as she pounds on the door with her hands, crying uncontrollably. "Please, I'm too young to get married. Let me go back!"

- "NO!" Anthony says, hitting the door, making Violet flinch and cry even more. "Stop crying. And for heaven's sake, let them dress you properly so we can get married."

- "No, please," she says as she approaches the door. "Let me out. Out. I've behaved well. I've never been mean to anyone," she says, her voice choked as she continues to bang on the door while crying. "Why are you doing this to me?"

- "I didn't know you suffered all this at the beginning of your relationship with Dad," Diana says, crying as she sees what her mother went through at 15.

- "In every relationship, there are good and bad moments," Violet says as she hugs her daughter. "There were many good times and some bad ones."

- "Worse than those?" Neil asks, looking at his mother.

- "It depends on how you look at it; there were worse moments."

- "I will help you get dressed, ma'am; you will look so beautiful that all the brides will envy you," says the woman who is a servant. "My name is Dorota, and I'm here for whatever you need."
